  • POPCORN GAME CHANGER!!! 10 stars!!!
Color: Red
This little item is GENIUS! It makes no sense to me that it would work but it absolutely does! Way better than microwave popcorn in a bag and so much easier (and better) than making popcorn with a popcorn maker. 2-3 mins in the microwave, no oil needed. You have "better than movie theater" popcorn in minutes with no mess. Super fresh and crispy. Seriously. I didn't believe it either. I've tried popping the kernels with oil and without oil. I truly believe it pops more kernels without using oil and definitely leaves the container easier to clean. Without oil, you really don't have to do anything if you don't want to. When you use oil, you have to wipe the oil off the lid and the container. Oh, and I usually only have 5 or 6 kernels left unpopped. I have gone thru an entire jar of kernels using this popcorn maker so far and it still looks and acts like it's brand new. SO durable. I don't think I will ever make popcorn any other way! ... show more

  • So easy to make, you’ll have a snack in minutes, no mess So easy to make, you’ll have a snack in minutes, no mess

This is a great popcorn popper, very easy to use and clean. You pop the kernels without oil, so you can just rinse and let it air dry. No mess! The popper collapses for easy storage. Here’s a photo of it in my cupboard. Everybody’s microwave is different, I set my time to 5 minutes and just listen till the popping slows down, usually about 3-1/2 mins. After I put it in a bowl I use butter spray and assorted flavor toppings. It makes 10 cups of popcorn. I usually have about 4 or 5 unpopped kernels. Really really good healthy popcorn! You should try it ... show more

  • Easy, works great, and no mess.

I love this popcorn maker. I have tried using everything else, and this is easy and effective. 1/2 cup of corn, 4 minutes in the microwave, and you are good to go. I bought a second one for our vacation home as well.

  • Life-changing for a Popcorn Aficionado
Color: Blue
I love this bowl. I'm a self-admitted popcorn snob. I use ACTUAL movie theater buttered oils and salt (Butter-Flav'd Soybean and Flavacol) to make DEAD ON movie theater popcorn (no "STYLE" about it... it's the REAL stuff). Until this, I used a countertop wire-spin popper from Dash and also one from Cuisinart with a dishwashable hotplate, but both of those poppers have sat unused since I got this one. It can't manage the volume of the machines, but when making popcorn for 1-4 people, it does really well without the extra setup of dragging out and cleaning up the machines. It's also faster needing only 2:10 in my 1100w Panasonic Inverter microwave (The best, BTW!) to pop about 1/2 cup of quality kernels like Orville or Pop Secret. Boutique kernels take a bit longer or burn in a microwave so you might want to pass on anything except good-ol' regular popping corn. The collapsible silicone bowl is really efficient to store, and super easy to clean, with residues just about wiping out with hot water and Dawn (absolute best for grease! They use it on oil spills for a reason!). I've noticed only a VERY minor bit or staining from the yellow coloring in the buttered oil, but nothing to really upset me. I just wanted to point it out. Does not affect use or effectiveness one bit! This is a cost-effective substitute for the ease of microwave corn with the ability to control everything about your popping experience, unlike bagged microwave popcorn. Just spend the money. ... show more

  • I've got good news and bad news
Color: Red
First the good news: This makes nice, crispy popcorn for me. I use Amish extra tiny white. Be ready to sacrifice a couple of batches to learn what your nuker does. I set mine on high for 3.5 minutes. There was no burning at that setting. If you're wise you'll undershoot the first time to avoid having a fire in your microwave. I wouldn't leave the area of the nuker. Now the not-so-good news: It's not the product's fault, but there's no oil to make salt stick, so unless you like your popcorn completely unflavored, you may not appreciate the crispy popcorn. Also, only half the kernels popped. This is comparable to that horrid stuff you get in little bags that calls itself "microwave popcorn". If you want to buy good popcorn to start with, there's a lot of expense. I ended up spraying a PAM-like oil on it to make the salt stick. So I might as well have used a Whirley-Pop with a bit of EVOO and saved all those unpopped kernels. Also, although the lid is a necessity, it is a burn hazard, not because it's hot, but when I removed it the first time, the steam from the popcorn burned my fingers. Be careful-use an oven mitt or a dishtowel or something! So, I'm ordering a Whirley-Pop. But not because this is a bad product--just personal preference and practicality. ... show more

  • great product
Color: Red
Excellent popcorn. The key is to stop the popping when it slows. It took only 2 minutes using 2 tablespoons of corn for my 1200 watt microwave. Popped up tender and delicious. So much easier than using my stove top and a much better result.
