I’ve had this stick blender and the accessories for a couple of years now. It is great! The blender has a multi speed adjustment, making it easy to start a blend at a low speed to mitigate any mess, and ending in a high speed blend that assures complete purée. The safety switch is now activated by the index finger in line with third finger activation of the blender button. This is much more natural and comfortable than the old safety switch on top of the stick. Accessories include a blender cup, chopper, and whipping attachment. The last one I had lasted seven years before it locked up. I had taken a wild shot and bought another popular brand where both units that they exchanged for me did not work with their unlocking mechanism. You don't have to worry about that with this unit. It's much easier to just attach the blending tool as a single part to blend simple things like drinks, making it much easier to clean than my jug blender that has to be disassembled into five parts to clean in the dishwasher. For most cases this will be clean if rinsed properly in clean running water or hand washed. A lot of people have trouble with the safety switch that allows the start switch to work but I have no trouble with that on one hand. The downside versus a jug blender is that you usually have to stabilize the container with the content to be blended, especially at higher speeds but it's not a real inconvenience. ... show more

So far, very pleased. Sturdy feel works like a champ. I have been wanting one for some time. I had bought another brand but it didnt work. This works. This has been a great addition to my kitchen so far. The unlock and power button need to be pressed at same time. So place in hand with buttons facing away from you. Line up your fingers to be able to press both. This will get it powered up. Once going, you can release the lock button, but dont have to. Just know that if you stop, you will have to start that over again. Pretty sure this is the norm. Attachments are easy on/easy off, easy clean. Have yet to use the whisk, but can say that both the immersion attachment and the Chopper does a great job. This tool is something I have been missing in my life. I love not having to get out my big heavy noisy blenders all the time, especially for small jobs. What a game changer. ... show more
