I decided to purchase this vegetable chopper after growing tired of taking a century chopping my veggies for lunch/dinner. Okay, I didn't actually take a century but it took far too much time than I was willing to lose out of my day. There were a bunch of options when searching for a chopper online, I decided on the OXO chopper because it was a brand I recognized, and that was enough for me! No, it doesn't have a variety of different interchangeable blades, but that's fine by me! It's great if, like me, you don't have the space to keep those dozen or so interchangeable blades that the other brands come with. I wanted something simple and this was it. It works great and has not struggled even with the hardest of fruits or veggies. All the uniform little food cubes fall right in the attached container, and then you can just pour the goodies out the back opening right into the pot/pan/tray/your mouth/trash wherever. Cleanup is a bit of a mission, but that is the case with every one of these food choppers. Overall I recommend this is you just want a simple, easy, sturdy food chopper.

This was exactly what I was looking for and it didn’t disappoint. I was originally going to purchase one of the larger more popular dicers, but I didn’t want all of the extra attachments because I personally don’t think I’d use them & they would just end up taking up space in my kitchen. This one is compact & does the job very well. It’s a little difficult to clean out the left over food that sticks to the metal, but I imagine that’s the same with any brand.

I chopped vegetables for a stir fry and soup. Easy to use until I got to the carrots. They seem to be too hard. An entire blade bent. Although I was able to pry it back into place that section no longer works well. Only thin carrot slices work.

with this chopper. Been waiting all week to make homemade chili now that the weather is starting to get cold. I work long hours, and never seemed to have enough energy to cook a healthy meal when I get home from a long day. Well this mighty little chopper has changed that for good. Humm.. wonder what is next. Potato Cheese soup perhaps? Thinking I need to get that hand crank cheese shredder next.

I bought this for my husband who's starting to help out with the cooking more because I wanted him to add more vegetables to the food, for example, onions, peppers, etc. He loves it. Uses it all the time. I recommend watching the video in the description of the lady using it first. You can see presses it down in one, firm, strong push. If you do it that way, it'll cut everything every time. I also liked that it's compact and small. When not in use it doesn't make as much space as the other cutters do, which are usually much longer and come with a bunch of other unnecessary accessories.

I've chopped onions, mushrooms, apples, peppers, tomatoes, and other vegetables, and the ease with which this OXO chopper works--and cleans--makes the work almost a pleasure. I love that it's dishwasher safe, too; while it's simple to wash by hand, the blades are sharp. Once again, OXO has hit a homer.
