This stethoscope works quite well for the money. I haven't ever tried a different brand to compare audio quality but this one fits my needs. I can take blood pressure with this stethoscope and a sphygmomanometer and I can also hear the heart and lungs clearly. It is put together well and comes with extra pieces. I can keep up with my stethoscope now! I love this hot pink color, and it really shows up when I leave it lying somewhere. If I was working in cardiology or pediatrics, I would use a Littmann. Working in the hospital on a med-surg floor, this is working just fine for me. I had a black one like this, and I have no idea where it disappeared to. I always have my Littmann as a back-up, but this thing works well enough for me most of the time. Breath and heart sounds are audible and I have no trouble with the functions of it. This one is comfortable and doesn't squeeze too tight too. I would purchase again. There are some replacement parts shipped with this unit, and that is a plus! ... show more

I am a registered nurse and a coworker of mine had this stethoscope. I used it once and I LOVED it! The bell is a bit heavy but I can hear so well, surprising for a cheap stethoscope. I prefer this over my two Littmans! The only complaint I have is that I have nearly lost my ear pieces and my entire bell because they kind of easily fall off. I'm considering gluing them on because I have almost lost them many times. Right now I've just been trying to remember to tighten them every once in a while. Update 2 years later - STILL my favorite stethoscope. I have since superglued the pieces that would constantly fall off and now have no problems. Absolutely prefer this over Littmann!
