Already have used it three times and it has toasted bread, English muffins, and waffles to your perfection. This toaster is solidly built love the stainless steel, classic look, and being that it’s not digital is key, because they tend to fail out after a couple years. Toaster is slightly larger than your typical four slotted toaster. So make sure that you have room for this if you’re stowing it away in a cabinet. The size does matter if you have a small kitchen. Some mainly put it on the countertop where others put it away. Luckily, we have the room, but I had to move and shift some things around the cabinet in order to stow it away properly. Heats up quick, does a phenomenal job. We have a few of the Cuisinart Brands. Some have been wonderful, and some not that great…. As of now, it’s a hit. Paddles are solid, locks down easily when dropping the bread in the slots without shoving it down to make sure your items are toasted evenly. Lots of room for Texas toast and browns easily without having to hit the cycle twice. If you set it properly, it will toast it right one time.,,Not much more else to say. Great value! The media could not be loaded. Ignoring that it is so darn cool looking, turns out this is a great toaster that is consistent and easy to operate. I find it functional, easy to clean, reliable and wide slots are perfect for bagels or thick sliced sourdough. It might not be for everyone but I love its Metallic red color. I needed a replacement for my toaster. I'm not a fan of cheap aluminum toasters, but it seems that's all you can get these days. It's clear right out of the box that this is not going to last overly long. The one it replaced lasted around 9 years. I'm not sure this one will, despite the rave reviews I saw online. Clearly, since it's new to me, the jury is still out on longevity, but.....here's my impressions so far. Fits my countertop space, always good news. Cord is acceptably long. The buttons are clearly marked and easily used. The dial is less so, but my old one was worse. The toasting process told me that not all the interior heat coils turn on to the interior of the machine. Whether that is due to a poor grade of coil or poor workmanship or just the temperature, I can't say. BUT...the toast seems to not be as "toasted" as my other machine on the same dial numbers. Since they are in minute increments, I would assume that 3 minutes of toasting in both machines would be similar, but they are not. This machine also doesn't seem to toast to the edges of the bread on 2.5-3 minutes like my old one did. I'll probably keep it, but don't expect much. It's a cheap toaster, folks....and that's what you'll get. ... show more

We love the wide openings which are perfect for bagels. We also love the vintage look of it. It kind of reminds us of a toaster you might see in a British movie from the 1930’s. It works really well too. our old toaster was a pain in the neck to use. it was too skinny so you couldn't put a thick piece of bread or a bagel in. it also didn't toast evenly. this one is so much better. ... show more

We just came into a few dollars and our toaster crapped out. So, I found this one on Amazon at a great price. It's a known brand that makes good machines, why not? Omg, y'all!!! First, I feel all growed up. 😂 I've got a pretty stainless toaster that blends wonderfully in my stainless kitchen appliances. Second, I can make toast for my wife and myself at the same time so we can finally eat breakfast together as she prefers. I typically make her meal and mine at the same time but put hers together first. That way I can bring it to her and set mine up quick. No need with a 4 slot toaster. I can bring both our meals in to the room together. (That's right, Ladies, I'm a kept man so I bring my lovely wife dinner in bed after she gets home from work, most nights. Find yourself a man who does the same, we're loving and loyal.) Third and final thing to note about this fantastic toaster! Idk what kind of super coil technology they are using but toasted items are more crisp. Omg English Muffins TASTE better! It brings out the nuttiness in a nice piece of whole grain toasted bread. I never knew that a better toaster would make the end product taste SO MUCH BETTER. Now I do. Pay a few bucks more. This manufacturer nailed it, this toaster is amazing.
