My wife was critical of the steak knives because there is no ridges on them. So she directly called Cuisinart and they told her they worked. So later that night she is on the phone with her girlfriend complaining about the knives and guess what happened. She cut her hand and didn't even know it till she looked down. I was laughing. My first set of cuisinart knives. I love them and feel like they will last a long time. I appreciate the slim fit and the fact that there aren’t too many knives but a few can serve many purposes.
