I use 1 pound proud and tanks and store it in a medium sized duffel when it’s not in use in the trunk of my car. This will cook steaks chicken veggies anything well. You just have to get used to the temperature as there is no gauge. The portability here is so nice. Going on a road trip? To a friends house across town? Just on the tiny porch outside? I take grilling & cooking somewhat seriously, and I’ve used some really crummy miniature grills in the past with poor results. So I did a lot of research before purchasing this. This thing really does get HOT and retains heat surprisingly well for its size. My initial worry was that this thing wouldn’t get hot enough and take forever to cook stuff, but that was not the case at all. Made beautiful grill marks on some salmon and turnips, and cooked things surprisingly evenly across the entire width of the cooking surface. It will have no problem getting a seat on virtually anything. The grill grate itself is perfectly fine, no issues with sticking when properly oiled. It's very compact, easy to transport, and works really well. Would definitely recommend getting a propane adapter hose (we got the Cuisinart one), and a refillable 5 lb tank. I was able to grill 6 burgers at a time, and they cooked pretty fast. My only complaint/pet peeve is that the grill drip pan slides out from the back. That's fine when you want to take it out. However, when the grill cover is closed and you want to carry it by the carry handle on the front, the drip pan frequently slides out and falls. I ended up using a bungee cable to keep it in place during transport. Otherwise, this is an outstanding portable grill.;;Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2020;;5.0 out of 5 stars;;Great little road trip grill;;JN5978
