  • EASY. PORTABLE. STURDY. (3 month review)
Color: Petit Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill, Stainl...
Live in a city where a lot of grill thefts happen on porches. I have always wanted my own gas grill but the idea of spending a lot of money to be able to easily have that flavor fast has deterred me. This is a solid choice. It is not a grill if you are cooking for a large group but I would say 2-4 people could easily get fed in a timely manner. I use 1 pound proud and tanks and store it in a medium sized duffel when it’s not in use in the trunk of my car. This will cook steaks chicken veggies anything well. You just have to get used to the temperature as there is no gauge. The portability here is so nice. Going on a road trip? To a friends house across town? Just on the tiny porch outside? EASY and simple just pop the legs out and fire it up. I love using this thing and the grate comes off completely so it is insanely easy to keep clean with minimal effort. I love this little grill. If you are looking to get something to cook for 2 people I don’t know why you would even need a full sized grill. Get this bad boy. I haven’t had plastic melt yet after a few months but I can say that probably happens if the grill is left with high heat for long periods. Still going strong and worth the money for this purchaser. Again. Not for the avid griller or feeding a small army but the small spacers I highly recommend giving this a try. ... show more

  • Compact grill works for RV with limited storage
Color: Petit Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill, Stainl...
I have a travel trailer with very limited outside storage space, so selected this grill because it was the only one I could find to fit inside my bumper storage locker. The RV already has low pressure propane quick connects. I removed the regulator and its shield from the back of the grill to save even more space. I also removed the folding legs; though they help stabilize the grill when the lid is open, they're not really necessary. First use was an intentional fail since I wanted to see how it managed grease flare-ups cooking bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers. With burner at lowest setting, the flare ups were uncontrollable. Subequent use with a small 13x8 iron griddle (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CGNGW9T?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) was good. I highly recommend using a griddle if cooking fatty foods. Also note that a few reviews complain about the locking latch plastic melting. It looks as if this would happen if the outside plastic latch is not in the fully open position when the burner is on. The metal that the plastic is attached to can touch another metal piece inside that holds the lid closed. This inside metal piece probably gets very hot and can transfer heat to the outside release latch. If the latch is fully open, then the two metal parts don't touch. This isn't a great design, but you can avoid the issue using a little extra care by not locking the lid when the grill is hot. ... show more

  • Compact functional grill that can get sufficiently hot
Color: Petit Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill, Stainl...
I recently moved out of an apartment with some incredible rooftop grills that I used weekly, so I was looking for something that would fit on the patio in my new place. I take grilling & cooking somewhat seriously, and I’ve used some really crummy miniature grills in the past with poor results. So I did a lot of research before purchasing this. This thing really does get HOT and retains heat surprisingly well for its size. My initial worry was that this thing wouldn’t get hot enough and take forever to cook stuff, but that was not the case at all. Made beautiful grill marks on some salmon and turnips, and cooked things surprisingly evenly across the entire width of the cooking surface. It will have no problem getting a seat on virtually anything. The grill grate itself is perfectly fine, no issues with sticking when properly oiled. Bottom line is it’s definitely worth the price if you’re looking for something for a small patio or picnics or something. ... show more

  • sturdy and reliable.
Color: Petit Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill, Stainl...
This grill has a durable baffle and lighting reliability. Other grills I have owned had neither. Usually the auto light feature on other grills does not work for very long, and the baffles disintegrate quickly.

  • Hardly any btu’s for grilling.
Color: Petit Gourmet Tabletop Gas Grill, Stainl...
Only used once as a portable rv grill and had to use our other grill instead. The btu’s are not even close to what they need to be to grill on and cook your food. Bottom leg broke on one side after trying to store it. Wouldn’t waste this amount on this grill. Update: still no improvement in performance. Burners still not putting hardly any flame out. Would not recommend this. ... show more
