The Cuisinart Cast-Iron Double Burner has proven to be a reliable and versatile addition to my kitchen. Its sturdy construction and powerful heating capabilities make cooking a breeze, whether I'm preparing elaborate meals or just need an extra burner for simultaneous cooking. The cast-iron material distributes heat evenly, ensuring consistent results and allowing for precise temperature control. The dual burners provide flexibility, accommodating various pot and pan sizes. I appreciate the convenience of having two independent heat sources in one compact unit, which is especially handy during gatherings or when cooking multiple dishes. The burner's sleek design and easy-to-clean surface add to its appeal. A Good Durable 2 Burner Countertop Stove - With a steep Heating Curve!
Style: Cuisinart Cast-Iron Double Burner
I bought the Cuisinart Cast Iron Double-burner to replace my Ovente double-burner after the heat knob for one of its elements began taking the day off(!) It either would not turn the burner on, or, would stay on, and allow it to get hot enough to melt the SUN. Compared to that departed Ovente, everything about this Cuisinart counter top feels better constructed and more substantial. The control knobs are much larger, and are clearly indexed for exact setting and smooth adjustment. The green ready lamps let us know when a desired heat setting is reached, and the amber on lamps warn you of a burner left on before you leave for work. It is overall about half an inch wider(left to right) than the Ovente, 2 inches deeper(front to back) and half an inch taller. Plus, a beefier three-prong grounded power cord. Yes, this thing is like a TANK, and it shows. Plan a space to set it up accordingly. As with my Ovente review, I recommend the following settings for specific uses: 5 - for boiling a pot of water for pasta, etc. 4 - for heating up a kettle(many kettles advise against maximum stove heat). 3-4 - Most general cooking 1-2 - Low to simmer 1 - Keep it warm! The biggest caveat: These are CAST-IRON burners, not infrareds, or coils, or inductive. So learning how they heat up might take some practice. While a regular coil-burnered full size range, or the Ovente burner, might heat up a pot relatively quickly, the Cuisinart heats up much slower, and, STAYS WARMER MUCH LONGER. That is why I took off one star, above, for temp. control. It will stay hot for up to 5 minutes after you turn off a burner, so whatever you are warming up or are cooking will continue to cook for several minutes after turning it off. Learn the warming curve of this appliance, and you won't go wrong. Cleanup is a little bit easier, with fewer gaps and crevices for spilled ingredients to get inside the Cuisinart. It's the stove I should have bought six or seven months ago, and now two weeks later, it has already paid itself off in our 'range-less kitchen'! :D

Exceptional puorchase.
Style: Single Burner
I make a six gallon batch of turkey hash. It is a heavy product to make and takes a long cooking time. With daily 100 degree heat, I dreaded adding more heat to my house. I ordered this large hot plate to do the cooking outside on my patio. And it was a brilliant decision. The hot plate not only handled the large cooking kettles weight, it had no problem holding the tempratures. From a rolling boil to a long simmer that takes over four hours, this Cuisnart hot plate did a fine job. Best purchase ever!

Hot plate
Style: Single Burner
I had one of these that eventually “died” and had to find another. Though it wasn’t the same brand that I previously had, this one works just as well. I would recommend this product.

Mixed reviews.
Style: Single Burner
We tried to use this for canning. It is only 120v and is too small for large pots. It took forever to get our canning pot up to temp. We use the stove to get our pressure cooker up to temp then transfer over to this burner.

I did cook with this stove when I needed
Style: Cuisinart Cast-Iron Double Burner
Well, I bought this stove with two burners. I can cook on one burner but the other is only for keeping warm, not for cooking. I don't know if that's the idea of this one.

Portable, grab and go.

Works great, gives you that extra burner you need. We use It to fry fish outside. Keeps you from having the smell of fish or whatever you don’t want stinking up your house.
