Within 3 weeks, 7 of the knives are rusted and several others are showing signs of rust. Amazon return policy does not allow for Holiday returns and Cuisinart is a joke. I’ve had the knives ONLY 2 weeks and they are already rusting and bad quality. Ive bought much cheaper quality knives that lasted much longer than this. I wouldn’t purchase them again.

Edited to add: We reached out to the company and they replaced the entire set for free. I was super pleased with that. Our new set also hasn’t broke yet. So fingers crossed! We bought this less than six months ago and the steak knives are already breaking. All we use these knives for is to cut meat, it’s not like they’re really getting a significant workout. I wish I had known this and I would’ve purchased a different product. These knives don’t seem to be made with high-quality parts. ... show more

Because of the price it left me a little hesitant on the quality of the knife set. My only complaint is purley based on consistency in the set as I wish the kitchen shears and knife sharpener both had the same handle as the rest of the set (see photos). However, these knives are not only aesthetically pleasing, as I went with the white, but the quality is typical Cuisinart: solid! They’re sharp, the weight is solid and everything else you could possibly ask for as far as a knife set goes. Wish it had a small spreader, however I knew that there wasn’t one going into this purchase. With that being said, for under $60, I don’t think you can find anything the same quality and chicness than this knife block set, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you Cuisinart!! ... show more

I got these for Christmas 2018 and have now been using them for over 2 months now. The pairing knives are definitely the cheapest quality of the whole set, but the big knives are very nice. I don't know if I would buy the set again, just because the small pairing knives are pretty cheaply made, but I didn't have good knife options before so these serve their purpose for me. I cook pretty much at LEAST once a day and am using the knives constantly. I have been using the sharpener just recently to just keep up with the the already existing sharpness. I would say, if you're on a budget, this is a good set! If you're look for professional grade steel, then you're OBVIOUSLY going to have to spend A LOT more on knives. But these get the job done for someone that uses them on the daily for "at home" cooking. ... show more

The handles are a super light, cheap feeling plastic. The knives aren't sharp enough. The steak knives are flimsy. I'm really disappointed. Waste of money to return. I spent a lot of time looking at different knives and I felt confident in choosing these but it was a big mistake.
