I shopped around for so long before I settled on this Cuisanart Air Fryer/Toaster Oven. I've fallen in love with it! This Cuisanart does so many things and does them well. Air Fries, Toasts, Broils, Bakes, Grills and Warms!! I've made so many things and all of it has turned out great. The Air Fryer makes delicious and crispy potatoes and Brussels Sprouts and flaky fish. I've grilled burgers and steaks that came out juicy. I've baked Banana Bread in this and it turned out moist and delicious. Everything comes out perfectly cooked. And the cooking/baking time is cut down! And it comes with a handy cooking guide that even has recipes in it. This has been a great purchase that I regularly use and highly recommend. And one of my favorite aspects of this particular unit is that the baking tray also goes under the air fryer basket eliminating any dripping or mess in your air fryer! Amazing. And clean up so far has been a breeze. All the pieces that come with the unit clean easily. I really can't say enough good things about this Cuisanart product. Lastly, I love the size of this unit. Originally this was a 5* review. This is an update after about 14 months of use. Pros: Overall, it's a wonderful appliance. Nothing I cooked came out poorly. I used it for lots of things. I got mine at a very reasonable price. A vast improvement over other methods of cooking. With one exception, I've been very happy with it. I liked the dials, the SS, even its presence on my kitchen counter. It did everything it was supposed to do, and did it well. It wasn't hard to learn and understand the settings. So why have I dropped a star and switched to another brand? Well... Con: It's a pain in the you-know-what to clean. It vaporizes any oil and spreads it throughout the interior which has lots of nooks and crannies. Since I cooked a lot of chicken in mine with the skin on, that meant cleaning it constantly. You aren't supposed to use a scrubby and they just recommend a light soapy water. After awhile, the joy of using it became more of a chore. I've since switched to another highly rated brand where what's cooked is in tempered glass, which can be put in the dishwasher or hand-washed, a much easier process. Your mileage may certainly vary. You may not cook the same things I do. I would give this 4 1/2 stars because it really does everything well. But it's too much like cleaning your microwave or regular oven every time you use it. It's not like cleaning a pot or a pan. ... show more

This Cuisinart mini-stove is awesome! You can’t fit an entire turkey, but you can cook pretty much everything. My favorite function is the air fryer, but you can also use the “bake fan” option. No complaints at all! I’m seriously thinking about getting rid of my old toaster because it also makes great toast. Pro tip: If you want to avoid aluminum or cheap metal like me, you can find a stainless steel tray on Amazon to replace the original one. ... show more

The most dreaded chore in my house is not cleaning toilets, it is cleaning the air fryer tray and basket for this product. I bought this combination air-fryer/toaster oven for three reasons: 1) I had heard it was a quick, tasty way to cook lots of things, 2) I did not want two appliances taking up room on my counter (air fryer and toaster) and 3) I have always had good performance from Cuisinart appliances. This appliance is mostly a disappointment. I gave it three stars as the air fryer function does work well, and the food cooked in it is delicious. I only gave it three stars for these reasons: 1) The toaster function takes forever, and to get a good toast on bread you have to toast it so long it dries out. 2) The air fryer basket and tray are IMPOSSIBLE to clean. And everything sticks to them, no matter how much cooking spray you use . You cannot put them in the dishwasher, and the only way to get stuck-on food off is to soak overnight and then scrub for a long time the next day. Any time saved in cooking is more than lost in the clean-up. 3) The cooking instructions that come with the appliance are close to useless. The product is marketed as a healthy alternative to frying, but the instructions are mostly for air frying junk food (frozen mozz sticks, french fries, frozen chicken nuggets etc.). There are no basic guides for how long and at what temp to cook fresh veggies, potatoes, chicken, fish, etc. There is a little cookbook with some intricate recipes, but no useful basic guide. And it is almost impossible to find on-line recipes for the air-fryer/toaster oven combo. Overall, I would not buy this again. ... show more
