Ordered the "Cuisinart 9-Cup Continuous Feed Food Processor with Fine and Medium Reversible Shredding and Slicing Disc, Universal Blade, Continuous-Feed Attachment, and In-Bowl Storage (White)" which is our third Cuisinart food processor in forty (!) years. This one, however, is build differently from legacy Cuisinart food processor units we have had in the past - and is more akin to KitchenAid products. For those that are accustomed to legacy Cuisinart products, its a bit of a learning curve. However, it does everything we need AND a whole lot more, and we, well, have gotten to know one another better over time. I don’t know many who don’t like to receive a cuisineart. I love this. It’s been a while since I’ve had one and this is better than what I thought I used to have. It has everything and more. I've had a Cusinart Processor since mid 90s and it broke and I bought this one and oh the Improvements. This one just snaps in and the slices and everything else so much easier and no more struggles or mess just cleans up.

Great for cutting veggies for soups - the reason I bought it. Easy to clean - hot water and suds, so yes easy to clean but not easy to get dry - lots of design nooks and crannies. That said, when I’m making soup, this appliance will be on my counter getting a workout.

Most of my Kitchen products are Cuisinart for decades. My last food processor ( family of 6) lasted over 20 years with NO issues. Only replaced with this one because Cuisinart no longer were making part’s ( blade) because of the age. This one I have a feeling will not last 3-6 months!!!! To lock plastic bowls are very thin and does Not guide smoothly. ... show more

I liked the shoot out the side feature and the unit is well built and powerful. It also looks nice. I used it initially to grate a bag of potatoes. Our problem was large chunks of potato kept getting wedged between the top of blade and unit cover. Also the exit shute kept clogging requiring us to stop, empty and scrape, several times. Wanted to like it but returned it. Also storage of the various pieces is cumbersome ... show more

What most impresses me is the continuous fees of slicing which replaces the need for a larger cowl . . . I have plenty of huge bowls to catch the slices. Will update when I get a chance to use it.
