  • Great job Cudy.
I was surprised because it came in a unusually large box for a wifi router. When I took it out I saw why, the antennas are attached. I was very surprised by the funcionality, it is great. I haven't had any disconnections at all. All my TVs, Computers, laptops, phones and ipads connected without a problem. I tried speedtest with my laptop and got a gig wireless without even breaking a sweat. It is really a good wifi router for the money. Very stable connections, very convenient, very reliable. Coverage all over my home. The control panel is very intuative and easy to navigate. It updated the firware once connected without any problems. Good job Cudy. ... show more

  • Arrived late. Decent router with great features.
The order arrived two days late. The router seems to be of good quality. The fall-off in speed is about 50% on download at 30 feet and 75% on upload at the same distance. That's pretty concerning. I have 2 other Cudy wifi 6 routers that don't show that same issue although they are running wifi 6 and not 6E. This means the test with the other wifi 6 routers are on their 5.8ghz band where as the test on wifi 6E is on the 6ghz band. I did not test the wifi 7 feature because my phone doesn't support wifi 7. Maybe the speed issue will be fixed in later software updates. The router does have TTL adjustment feature like most Cudy routers. The other 2 models of Cudy router I own I really like. This one is falling a little short or maybe I got a bad unit. I could like the router if it didn't arrive late and if Amazons customer service wasn't so rude and hung up on my twice. Its 4 stars because if it wasn't late I wouldn't have had to deal with amazons customer service. Cudy customer service was very helpful. They are actively looking into issues I had. The good thing about Cudy that I've seen is the other routers I have get updates with fixes and new features. I really wish this router had a USB port though. ... show more

  • Very impressed
This was surprisingly good. The whole setup process was so easy using the app. It connected to my modem fast and started putting out working internet in minutes. I normally use mesh systems, but this one grabbed my attention because it is wifi 7. I was getting over 1GB/s OVER WIFI with this. That was a first for me. I was able to take full advantage of the service I am paying for. I was very close to the router to get that result, but it was cool to see either way. Range is good, but my sprinkler controller which is the farthest away still had trouble connecting. It didn't need a strong connection for fast speed so it did connect. Overall, I still recommend. It is an all plastic construction and feels somewhat cheap, but it works great. I have had no issues so far and haven't had to reboot it. ... show more

  • Router doesn’t connect to the internet
This router doesn’t connect to the internet! Not sure if i have a bad wan port. I reset the firmware and everything, and still no luck. Unfortunately I can’t review the router because I never got it to work.

  • Reliable and fast router. Great Wireguard VPN speeds.
I've been using this router for a while and it's been performing great. The connection speeds have been reliable on all WiFi bands. Mulitple SSIDs can be broadcasted at the time same time which includes separate band support for 2.5ghz, 5ghz, 6ghz, or the MLO . There is an option to combine the 2.5ghz and 5ghz band into one SSID. I have a few computers with a WiFi 7 and WiFi 6E network card and they're able to connect to the Cudy router with ease. I'm impressed with the speeds and haven't had an issue with disconnections. The VPN features have been working great. There is support for OpenVPN, Wireguard, ZeroTier, and many more. I have tried the OpenVPN and Wireguard client features to have all my client devices run through the VPN and the router has done great at tunneling the internet traffic without leaks. The setup for the VPN was easy as I can either upload the configuration file or just manually enter the information. Inside of the interface, there's also an easy way to device which devices get their traffic tunneled through the VPN or just pass through without it. There's also a custom DNS feature where I can enter what DNS servers. I am very happy with the reliability of this feature for not leaking DNS requests, outside of what I set the DNS server to. I have done multiple stress tests of the DNS requests and none gone outside of the intended DNS servers. Overall, the router has been performing reliably and the speeds on each of the bands have been fast. The setup was easy as it was a guided process. The signal of each band is impressive and I'm really happy with the dedicated MLO SSID for my WiFi 7 client devices. The best things I've gotten out of this is the VPN client support and the reliable custom DNS feature. I really don't have anything to complain about or nitpick with the performance of the router. ... show more

  • WiFi So Fast It Makes My Toaster Nervous
This Cudy router turned my whole house into a warp-speed zone. I used to have dead spots that felt like tech black holes—now even the garage is streaming YouTube like it’s mainstage. Setup was smoother than expected—plugged in, followed the app, and boom, we were flying. Those antennas ain’t just for show—they mean business. I got smart lights, phones, tablets, and a smart fridge all doing their thing, and this router handles it like a boss. No stutter, no buffering circle of doom. I even fired up cloud gaming on my kid’s tablet just to test it and the thing ran smoother than my thoughts on a Monday. What really flexes on this one is the VPN access. I can remote in to check my setup from the road like I’m running ops for NASA. The app’s clean and gives you control like you’re the neighborhood network DJ—you see who’s connected, kick freeloaders, tweak settings, all from your phone. Feels like I upgraded my whole digital life without even swapping out my devices. ... show more
