This is decent as it is, but I feel it could be more fun if the magnets were just slightly stronger. I know it’s sold as weak magnets, but the force these have is nearly non-existant. They fall easily when lifting just one or two away from the group. There are a lot of them, so it isn’t a big deal if you loose a few, which is nice. There isn’t much to say about these. They are fun to play with for a minute, but don’t have much lasting appeal. I think if they used stronger magnets, it would have been more fun to play with, or use as a bracelet or something. As it is, they just fall apart so easily, it leaves very little to actually do with them. I can still recommend them, but only for adults. They’re small enough that a child could think they’re candy and swallow them. As weak as they are, I’m sure they could still cause some damage if ingested. Still, for the right person, I can still recommend them.

The box fits in my hand. But it's nice and we'll contained. Let's see how fast my child looses the tiny magnets. Not suitable for young children. Definitely a checking hazzard

I'm a person that likes my fidgets to have a good bit of sensory feel to them. I love items that are smooth but also "interesting". By "interesting" I mean a variety of shapes. The magnetic putty stones checked those boxes for me. The package arrived with all the stones in a ziplock bag. The magnetic pull is very strong and I was able to shape the stones as I pleased. I found it to be a very nice "brain break" after being stimulated for hours all day. The stones are small as pictured, but I found the stones vary in different sizes and shapes with rounded sides. I would say I wish the putty stones were bigger as I was concerned I might drop or lose them easily. However, the magnetic pull between them is pretty sturdy so after a few minutes I didn't consider it a concern anymore. I would say this is a great item to have on hand for anyone needing a good fidget or something to help work through some rough emotions. Definitely not for small children.

I’ve found this fidget toy to be a fun playful distraction. However, when you grab the magnet rocks and start manipulating them into various shapes and stacks, the magnets are not very strong and it is hard to build anything with them. One point to note is the term 'weak magnetic' in the description. These aren't the powerful magnets some might expect; rather, they offer a gentler magnetic pull. This isn't a drawback per se, as the subtle magnetic force is sufficient for shaping and stacking without the risk of the strong magnetic forces that can damage electronic devices if left unchecked on a desk. If you play with them on the metal container they came with, that helps to stack and sculpt, but playing with them alone, they tend to fall apart as the shape keeps them from staying together. Overall, they are a good tool to help with concentration or a novel way to unwind.

The stones have weak magnetic making them stick together but can still be shaped. The stones look darker than in the listing pictures. It's exactly what I expected. My son really likes this type of toys despite his young age.

Will use this at work, just to kind of have something to fidget with. I like the idea. Magnetic anything is awesome. I would say that the size of the magnets are about the size of split pea. The magnetism is weak (as described in the product info) so could be an okay thing, as you can have it near computers and on desks. However, it is so weak, the little peeves separate easily and will scatter to the winds. I picked it up, squeezed it, and a section dropped away and off they went. Wouldn't think putting the magnets together would NOT make them stronger (combined magnetism) but it didn't make them stronger. Seemed you couldn't really use the "mass" to pickup the loose ones from when I dropped them. Overall, is an okay product. Mine were only available in black, I like the iridescent style, but that is okay. Not sure I would buy this, looking back.
