  • Love the CuboAI baby monitor
CuboAI monitor notifies me whether the baby is crying, rolling, coughing or something covering my baby’s face. You can also change the notification settings to fit your preferences. My favorite thing is the sleep log, so I can look back to see how his sleep has been and if he was getting enough hours every night. The monitor also have temperature sensor, night light, lullabies. I also love the 3 way stand because I can move it around the room or even put the camera on a table. The Cubo monitor app/subscription is free for 2 years and can also be shared, so my husband also have access to the app to see our baby when he is at work. We’ve been using this monitor for 2 years now, and plan to use it again for our next baby. We just need to renew the subscription. ... show more

  • Love love love!
Loved this camera for our 1st and we just bought a 2nd set for our newborn. Wish it paired better with Alexa. Sometimes Alexa would just turn off the app and we'd lose the feed from Alexa.

  • If you're on the fence, just get it
Android and bigger tech user. Went back and forth on smart vs dumb, Cubo vs Nanit, and finally went with Cubo. 9 months later can't imagine not having Cubo. There are a few quirks, such as needing to reset when moving wifi, but overall it's been fantastic. Also, when reseting moving wifi, all the pics/vids/history stays in your account, which I didn't know until we tested it. Cry alerts, playback of past 18 hours, recording/sacing moments to your phone directly. All great stuff. Sleep tracking is a bonus for when you're trying to remember what happened in the middle of the night after multiple wake ups lol. Overall, recommended and great experience. ... show more

  • Great wifi baby monitor
I really love our Cubo baby monitor. We decided to purchase this lesser known on Prime Day after researching other video (phone operated and standalone) monitors without finding one we really liked due to up front cost, glitches, or repeated subscription cost.. My favorite features have been the face/rollover detection and room temperature & humidity monitoring. When our son started rolling over, he would sometimes go face down. Cubo would send out a chirp so we could ensure his head was turned to the side for air each time. It gave me piece of mind. The temperature monitoring will let us know when the room gets too cold or hot and (we live in Florida) in our house the room can randomly run hot at odd hours, even at 3am. It is nice knowing the baby won't overheat. There had been a time or two when we had to close and reopen the app to get the monitor to work but it quickly resumed functionality. The team recently pushed out an update that should help with this. Recently (March or April 2021), Cubo interacting with Echo was activated so we can now view the baby on Echo like the non-phone baby monitors. We decided to go with Cubo over other similar brands, in spite of it being from a newer smaller company, because of the value it offers for the price. - it does NOT have issues shutting of when a phone screen is locked (some other brands have this glitch and I hate the thought if not knowing my baby was in distress due to a software bug) - you have access to baby's videos for 18 hours without paying a dime - family members in other states can be given permissions and see baby too (you can also control what access they have like turning off sound) -it uses face detection and nothing needs to attach to the baby - you can turn on audio only in the app to hear baby as you browse, just like classic audio only monitors without the secondary unit or batteries -very responsive support team. Any time I have a question (like how to turn on sound only monitoring or what to do if there is an error connecting to echo) their team responds within hours The monitor works well, staff is responsive, and my mind is at ease when using this monitor. Our baby is too small to get out of bed but when he does, I look forward to expanding the monitored area to make sure he doesn't get into trouble. Some mention connectivity issues but this could be their wifi. Our router is located central to the home and that may be why we do not have many issues in this area. I posted screenshots of the main monitor page (which has live status and saved clips), a screenshot of the monitors full screen (which is where you can rewind in the bottom left), a photo capture from cubo, and how to turn on audio only. ... show more

  • Disappointing
Written Sept 2022. It's really disappointing. First- it disconnects CONSTANTLY and you get notifications claiming the wifi is down, but it isn't. I have multiple other services and devices on my network that monitor my connection, and the Cubo is the only one that claims anything is offline. The biggest disappointment comes from its biggest selling point- the AI that monitors baby and notifies you if something is wrong. The AI part is great, the notifications are awful. There's no way to control what notifications you do and don't receive, so you get ones ALL THE TIME that are of no concern. They get really annoying, really fast, so you end up turning them all off which defeats the whole purpose. I get notified my baby is in the crib. I know- I put her there. I get notified she's out of the crib. I know- I just picked her up. When she's old enough to do this on her own, we'd like to know if she gets herself in or out, but right now it's not needed but there's no way to turn off just those kinds of notifications. We get notified EVERY time she cries, regardless of whether or not she's in the crib, or in the room, since it hears her from down the hall. There needs to be an option to only be notified when she cries WHILE in the crib. But the controls over what kinds of notifications you receive are Warnings, Alerts, and Notices. Good luck figuring out what those mean. You can set a "Danger Zone" to alert you if baby is going somewhere they shouldn't, like trying to climb out of the crib. This is great, except it limits the shape of that zone. Our crib, like most, has 4 sides. We'd consider getting too close to any of those sides a "danger zone,", but you can only set it to be 1 of them.. Even simple things like the ability to talk to the baby through the app just doesn't work, either. At best 1 word comes through, but usually it's 1 fragment of 1 word. Credit where it's due- the image quality from the camera is quite good, and it's easy to put together and get setup. All in all, it's a disappointment. With some relatively simple tweaks to the app, it could be great. Along with fixing whatever causes it think it's offline all the time. But until at least 1 of those things happen, I wouldn't suggest buying it. ... show more
