Love that the product is Made in USA! I would only recommend for Kombucha if you are not wanting a particularly fizzy batch. I have used the flip-top in the past which resulted in a much fizzier product. Upon inspecting the seal this past week, I’ve noted that it is not sealing completely. I’ve experimented with tightening and am very strong, so it’s not due to physical limitations. I highly recommend the bottles if you are not desirous of a fizzy, champagne-type kombucha. The kombucha I have produced is not completely flat, but is not comparable to the batches produced in flip-top bottles. That said, the fact that it is made in the USA is worth the compromise. The vast majority of glass bottles are made in China and I no longer trust any Chinese products. I searched online for hours and this was the only company I could find that makes bottles for brew here in the US so I will be using these bottles until they (hopefully) make some flip-top style bottles!! Hint..hint!!! :)

I just got these and I opened the box and 5 are great and one had a cracked lid and the missing piece wasn’t in the box so I’m guessing that it was already cracked when they packaged it. I’m giving it a good score since these are great otherwise but I would like it if they can send me one new lid that’s not cracked. Then I’ll be happy. UPDATE: I wrote to them about the broken lid and I was just expecting just one lid since that’s all I needed but they sent me a whole new set! That was soo nice of them. I would have been happy with just a lid. Great customer service

I am a busy new resident physician. I use these glass bottles to prep juices and cold brew before the start of a week so I don't have to worry about doing so as I go. It saves me a lot of time. They are built well and hold a good seal. I've gotten some of these before from another friend. Thought they were great so I ordered another set myself. Two of them came shattered but the rest were perfectly fine. Contacted the seller and they immediately resolved the issue. 5+ stars.

I bought these glass containers because we use a lot of spices in my kitchen and they were constantly going stale, which is very inconvenient since we have to go really out of our way to get some of the more uncommon Indian spices. After a few weeks of use I can confidently attest to the air tightness of these jars. I can always tell that something has kept well when I can immediately smell a spice as soon as I open the jar just a bit (no need to put my nose close to the opening). Overall, they are quite sturdy and I have used them a few times to hold some extra sauces in the fridge and it held up well in the dishwasher afterwards. Definitely worth a try!

What I like: Sturdy thick glass bottle. Wide mouth is great for adding ice, fruits, etc when I’m prepping water bottles for ready to drink. I also use these to transfer preserved/pickled items after opening to store in fridge. I like that it’s tall, thus taking up less space. And having everything in these bottles gives the fridge a more uniform, organized feel. Complaint: I like the lid because the plastic won’t rust, but within a week, I already have a lid breaking. The plastic could be a bit more durable. Option to purchase replacement/extra lids would be great.
