I needed a thin profile that wasn't too tall for a reading nook in my living room. Hubby put the lamp together quickly and he said it was easy. The one thing that I was surprised about was the bright ball lit up where the bulb is as I thought the light would diffuse a little more throughout the shade. (see picture). I'm going to drop down to a 40W bulb from a 60W to see if I can reduce the blinding spotlight. The lamp serves its purpose for what I needed. ... show more
