I love this light fixture! It completely transformed the bedroom in my new house! Installation definitely requires at least two people, one of them to hold it in place. We made the mistake of putting the light fixture up without the shade, so had to correct that. The two hardest part was lining up the screws with the holes on the drums, and hanging the crystals. The latter took me about a good hour because it has like a keychain- type ring, rather than a hook. Each crystal was individually packaged and then bagged by group. Definitely work your way out when hanging them. The insert of the drum has a protective plastic lining which I removed after installation. I purchased LED E12 dimmable bulbs and installed a dimmer, and love it even more. The mesh has a plastic insert, which maintains the shape of the shade. Absolutely exquisite light! Just want I wanted and need to have for my accessory / makeup room. I wanted a chandelier style but not the typical candelabra type. This goes perfectly with my black white gold theme. Will need two people to install. The picture does not do it justice. We got dimmable bulbs for this because it’s really bright and they work and look great. You won’t be disappointed! ... show more

    • Very pretty but I could not use it
Upon opening box this fixture was a well packed nice looking light. Unfortunately, we had to return it because when we held it up in the room it was meant for it was a bit smaller than we thought for the size of the room. Also we ordered the flush mount and decided we needed something that would actually hang on chain instead due to our ceiling height. I will say that it was very pretty so I don’t take anything away from the quality or aesthetics of this light it just wasn’t the size or style we wanted to achieve the look we we going for as we feel this fixture is better suited for a foyer or a smaller walk in closet or bath with average ceiling height. ... show more

The lamp was exactly as the picture and description, there was NOT missing pieces, everything was in good shape, nothing was broken, packaging was very carefully done, they cover all the crystals in a careful manner so they wont crack or chip. The lamp can be dim so works great for the ambience I am trying to reach. Looks so high end as well. I am very happy with my new lamp and everyone who came to see it they love it too!     • These lights will definitely not ruin your life.
i like a lot about this light. but there are pros and cons to everything so here they are: 1) PRO: it comes with white gloves for you to install the chandelier part so it doesn't get smudgy, and when you have someone do it for you, it's very easy to demand they wear these gloves and pretend like they're your butler. even though you're just a middle-class suburban lady in a reasonably-sized house. CON: sometimes the person who is installing it for you does not want you to pretend like they're your butler and they give you dirty looks when you call them "Mr. Belvedere." if you push them to make dinner i find that they push back pretty hard. 2) PRO: the light makes your room look fancy. SO fancy, that people might come in and say, "who's that butler?" and "is this a bordello?" CON: We've been having to shoo away prostitutes who were attracted to our fancy lights, and honestly, the brooms aren't working anymore to get them out of the house. so now I have all these former prostitutes in my house and i'm running out of odd jobs to give them. 3) PRO: These lights will make you feel like a very sassy disney princess. CON: sometimes you get pretty caught up in believing you're a disney princess and you try to force a relationship with woodland creatures who are not interested and then your husband has to take you to the ER for a rabies shot because your "butler" keeps aggressively reminding you that he's an electrician. 4) PRO: these fixtures give off a really good amount of light CON: We don't have curtains up and now the neighbors are sending threatening messages about "we can see into your house at night" and "why aren't you wearing clothes ever" an "we know you're doing that on purpose and we're calling the police if you don't stop." Basically, these lights are very pretty, bright and will not ruin your life with a stampede of former prostitutes. You have to pay extra for the butler though. ... show more

    • Not as pictured. Malfunctions.
Only after the handyman had it installed in place of our old fixture did he point out the light won’t install flush to the ceiling and crystals were missing — but Amazon customer service was helpful in getting additional crystals. Also know that the upper inside plate is a cheap looking — glossy white. Update 7/6/20: bulbs continually blow out, others will not work in the unit. We just called the electrician —again. ... show more
