It's perfect for large meals for Your Family and Friends. It's a 12 X 12 cooking surface, Coated with Copper Titanium Ceramic. Shallow fry, Pan Fry, Pan Sear, Saute, Simmer, Braise, Steam and Warm. Super easy to clean. I cut a Boneless chicken breast and also cooked Sweet potatoes and Fresh Spinach. Very spacious. Super light weight and will be super easy to store. This is My Favorite Electric Skillet I have ever had in over 40 Years. I don't know where to start on just how much I love this skillet. I rent a master bedroom in a house, and the other tenets have kind of taken over the kitchen from long before I got here. This skillet has made preparing meals for me so easy. I just have a little dorm size fridge/freezer, a crock pot and rice cooker, an electric pot/steamer and this skillet and I'm doing just fine. I keep thinking how good it will be to have this skillet when I take my cross-country trip with my little travel trailer. It's so easy to clean, too. I just put some of my soapy water left over from my other dishes and use a sponge wand on it. That's all it takes. Just a pleasure to cook with. Eggs and potatoes in the mornings, easy. I don't think you can go wrong with this skillet. If I had a dishwasher, I don't think I'd put this in there. It's just one of those kinds of purchases you make, that the quality of the item causes you to just want to take care of it. I don't think a dishwasher would do that. I would buy this again, if I needed another one. I especially like the depth of it. Everything stays in and not around the cooking surface. Haven't had any issues with uneven heating, like I've read on some other reviews. Good purchase so far.

Here are a few reasons why we love this electric skillet: heats well, no hot-spots, easy to clean, great for cooking meats & fish without spattering up your stove-top, perfect for stir fries, the high sides are a huge plus for making saucy dishes like chili, spaghetti sauce and stews. It's compact, easy to store, a nice size for 2-4 people and it makes the BEST POPCORN!

I love it! I can be in the living room with my family while cooking instead of away from them all! The pan is easy to clean, even grease with the nonstick surface, but the outer frame and handles are a bit awkward to wash if they get dirty. I was hoping the pan could be separated from its base so you can clean both. It also isn't dishwasher safe because of this. We have open flame gas burners on our stove, making temperature harder to control and predict, but this product makes it so much easier when you need a specific temperature, like with evenly frying chicken and making it crispy without burning it! The cord is a bit ridiculously short, like they figured you would just have it cooking on a counter, but that is easily remedied with an extension cord. The lid is sturdy with a really nice handle, unlike most pan lids I've used, and a great sealing impact over the entire pan. The entire thing is honestly pretty light and compact without sacrificing size somehow. I cook a meal for three and always have leftovers without even filling the pan entirely! All in all, I wish it was slightly easier to clean all of it, but it is 5 stars for me nonetheless!

This hit all my check marks. Pretty aesthetic, deep enough to make it easy to stir items as well as things not spattering out of pan, and not take up too much room but holds a lot. Size: Holding 6qts is a nice size pan. I made sausage and peppers in it last night - 15 sausage, 4 large peppers and onions. I had plenty of space to cook this, and by the time I was done cooking it filled it about one third the way up. I know there are bigger pans but I wanted something that was practical for everyday use not just for parties. And as mentioned above deep enough that you can stir food without having a mess. Nonstick Surface: Beautiful nonstick surface. They recommend not using cooking spray because it causes buildup. I agree with this. I keep a mason jar half filled with oil next to my stove and use a silicone brush to dip in oil and spread a light coating of oil over my cooking surface. Temperature control: They say to preheat it - not on full temperature but don’t actually say what temperature I assume warm. This surprised me but I do see it takes a little while to come up to full cooking potential. I had no problem with temperature control when cooking it was when I was trying to just keep it warm. Warm was too low, and when I tried to adjust a little higher it was bubbling too hard. I did eventually get it… this was only my first attempt using this, so I assume I will get used to it. The recipe book had a recipe for fried chicken. I hadn’t even considered making that when I bought this, but I am looking forward to trying it. The most important part of the recipe is it tells me how much oil is proportionally needed for this pan. Overall very satisfied
