This is the only brand over my lifetime that has ever proven to do exactly what is stated in its description. My husband and I live in a destination trailer and have traveled with his job for 12 years . Cooking capabilities and space are limited but this takes everything to a new level. Deepset,12 x 12 and I do everything from chili to stuffed peppers, fried potatos to casseroles. Between this exceptional pan and a slow cooker I can make amazing meals. This is my 4th or 5th Crux and I won't waste time with any others. I have never had any of the nonstick peeling that others have had and only one of mine was tempermental about having heating issues but I learned to just cook with it at a lower temperature and therefore no issues. The company has kept this affordable for years and while it may not have all the sparkle of color the others have, it has durability integrity and that beats all. I keep 2 of these at all times because I like a backup and use them simultaneously for a multitude of different cooking. By the way, cleanup is a breeze. No oil and a soft paper towel because everything just wipes clean. Treat it with respect and this electric skillet will be a longtime faithful friend!!

I don't know where to start on just how much I love this skillet. I rent a master bedroom in a house, and the other tenets have kind of taken over the kitchen from long before I got here. This skillet has made preparing meals for me so easy. I just have a little dorm size fridge/freezer, a crock pot and rice cooker, an electric pot/steamer and this skillet and I'm doing just fine. I keep thinking how good it will be to have this skillet when I take my cross-country trip with my little travel trailer. It's so easy to clean, too. I just put some of my soapy water left over from my other dishes and use a sponge wand on it. That's all it takes. Just a pleasure to cook with. Eggs and potatoes in the mornings, easy. I don't think you can go wrong with this skillet. If I had a dishwasher, I don't think I'd put this in there. It's just one of those kinds of purchases you make, that the quality of the item causes you to just want to take care of it. I don't think a dishwasher would do that. I would buy this again, if I needed another one. I especially like the depth of it. Everything stays in and not around the cooking surface. Haven't had any issues with uneven heating, like I've read on some other reviews. Good purchase so far.

This pan is FANTASTIC! I previously purchased a cheaper option to see whether or not I would actually use it (my stove faces the wall and I can't see the TV or interact with people). I used the cheap one a LOT so I made the jump to this one and it's a complete 180. NOTHING sticks to it, the pan is nice and deep for higher volume foods, the temperature is steady, it gets hot enough to sear/fry, and the low-warm settings are great for things you want to let simmer for a good while. The only thing I have noticed is difficult to do in any electric skillet is bacon - the heating element is kind of a circle and so the pieces cook unevenly. That's OK, though, nobody really eats bacon every day. If you're on the fence about which skillet to purchase (I can't commit to anything without reading reviews on like 50 different options), I highly recommend going with this one. You won't regret it!

Awesome electric skillet, this is my first electric skillet. My stove is on it's last leg and the eye that decided to go out is the largest one so I purchased this skillet to give myself more time to purchase a new stove. I love this thing so much I don't need to rush it's easy to clean, and it's definitely non stick, temperature true to dial. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it's not detachable.

I just got one of these about a month ago. I have owned several electric skillets over the years, which I thought were great, but this one, WOW, I am so impressed with it. The cooking is even across the whole skillet, I have left it cooking on high with sauces, and no burning or scorching, and clean up, OMG, I just use a wet cloth to wipe it out its that easy, or rinse it out, once I put a dot of dawn on it and ran the water over it, used a paper towel to go over the surface and it was clean, so easy, I have never had such a wonderful cooking pan as this one, no after smells, no stuck on anything. I told my husband about how much I loved it and he said, then order another one, so I am. You cant go wrong with this skillet, and its size is perfect, I can make enough for dinners and left overs or for a 6-8 people easy. I Love it!. This is the first time I have actually done a review, I just had to with this skillet, I am looking to see if they also have other cooking pans available, if they do, I am getting them.
