After 4.5 years, my ASUS VivoBook 15 M513IA (8GB RAM) was running slow, so I could either attempt to upgrade it or buy a new laptop. $700 or $75 (including the price of the tools to do it)? ....the choice was easy. I did my research, compared products and brands, and checked compatibility and installation information (Crucial has a lot of helpful info on their site). All told, the installation took about 20 minutes- the hardest part was getting the back of the laptop off- and I went from 8GB to 24GB with no hiccups.
