Installed the Crucial 64GB DDR4 RAM Kit (2x32GB, 3200MHz) into my Alienware x17 R2, and the experience was seamless. I replaced both factory memory sticks, and the system recognized the new RAM immediately, no BIOS adjustments needed. Packaged well and ready to race. I use this laptop for music and video production, as well as other creative work and production tasks, and the performance boost was immediate.
