Installed the Crucial 64GB DDR4 RAM Kit (2x32GB, 3200MHz) into my Alienware x17 R2, and the experience was seamless. I replaced both factory memory sticks, and the system recognized the new RAM immediately, no BIOS adjustments needed. Packaged well and ready to race. I use this laptop for music and video production, as well as other creative work and production tasks, and the performance boost was immediate. Heavy multitasking, DAW projects, and large file operations now run far smoother. This kit is downclock-compatible, which is great for systems that don't support the full 3200MHz. Dell sold me a laptop with only 8gb of RAM, and said it was Windows 11 compatible. I guess technically they were right, but it wasn't enough RAM to use any applications. I tossed this into a Dell Inspiron 3580 and it now runs like a champ. No blue screens and easy to replace. My recommendation is to replace the battery and upgrade the RAM at the same time to refresh and an aging laptop. ... show more
