  • Crucial RAM Solves The Problem
Size: 32GB Style: 2600MHz Pattern Name: Memory
An old I/T expression states that "RAM is RAM"! It is. However, in today's world all RAM is not the same. Random Access Memory is used by the operating system to allow (facilitate) faster access to your hard drive (storage) and the execution of your programs. This RAM was an upgrade or expansion of my existing Crucial modules for my Windows 10 system. An important factor in my decision was the "technical specifications" for the RAM. There are many modules available in the marketplace, but not all of these modules are compatible with your system. I have a Dell OptiPlex system. I contacted Dell Technical support and asked for these "specs". Then I tested this Crucial RAM module against those "specs". It was a perfect match! Additionally, RAM has to be replaced or installed in pairs, so buy two modules. Then test your system board diagram. There are usually four RAM slots (there could be more for a gamer system), an "A" pair and a "B" pair. Technical support can assist you in making this determination. I shut down my system. Removed power, opened the case and replaced the existing modules. Then I reversed the process. The second axiom for RAM is "It either works, or it doesn't"! I booted up my system, selected Enter on the "Continue" option and SUCCESS! No problems, no issues, no BSOD (Blue Screen of Death). ... show more

  • Long wait but worth it.
Size: 32GB Kit (16GBx2) Style: 2600MHz Pattern Name: Memory
This Ram pack gets me about half way to where I want to be. This is for my desktop computer. When you get to this level of ram it gets expensive. I have used Crucial ram chips in a number of computers I have had over the years. I have never had any issues with them. It is a good product. It took a while to get these but it is worth the wait. ... show more

  • Exactly as advertised!
Size: 8GB Style: 2600MHz Pattern Name: Memory
I ordered two 8GB DDR4 2666 MHz sticks to upgrade my wife's Lenovo 510a desktop machine from 8GB to 16GB. I also installed a 250GB SSD and reinstalled the OS on the SSD. This desktop now works like a champ for under $100. My wife works 40+ hours per week remotely and does a lot of Zoom calls!

  • Needed More DDR5 RAM
Size: 16GB Kit (8GBx2) Style: 2600MHz Pattern Name: Memory
My Dell XPS 8930 Tower can only utilize 64 gigs of RAM. It only came with 16 gigs of ram so adding another 16 gigs of RAM only gave 32 gigs wasn't enough & I am not a gamer

  • Not flashy but good
Size: 16GB Style: 2400MHz Pattern Name: Memory
Its not RGB, but it paired nicely with another 16gig stick that i put into a server computer, and now it purrs like a kitten. Not all ram has to come with an epilepsy warning to be fast!

  • HP PAVILLION DESKTOP TP01
Size: 8GB Style: 2600MHz Pattern Name: Memory
PERFECT!!! If you have an HP Pavillion TP01-xxx desktop compuiter; let it be known that this Crucial DR4-2666 MH CL19 DESKTOP MEMORY CT8G4DFRA266 can be installed fairly quickly without having to take anything apart inside. It is a simple matter of putting an anti-static wristband on either wrist; connect the alligator clip to a metal part somewhere within reach of what you are doing. Remove the side cover and if this is not your first time doing this, you should have the computer back together with all your peripherals; mouse; keyboard any USB connectors; HDMI or other video connector to your monitor and be up and running in under 15 minutes. VERY simple. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE: Installation notes: a. DON'T FORGET THE ANTI-STATIC WRIST STRAP. Also, b. to be safe and not zap your new or old memory module; your motherboard or worse everything inside the casing rendering your PC completely useless: c. even with the wrist band on, to be on the safe side discharge any residual static electricty from yourself; ensure to touch some metal on the pc casing surface before touching anything inside the computer that has a microchip; and that the alligator clip is secure. d. MAKE SURE you are not using a screwdriver or anything else that might fall inside the casing and land on the motherboard or other sensitive component that has a magnetized end. A screwdriver with a magnetized end for example, won't be useful for anything except snagging a hard to get tiny screw or something. Then, except for getting that little screw that magnetized screwdriver end in this example could degauss, or demagnetize something you don't want degaused or demagnetized. As a result, you could very well find yourself holding 600 dollars or so worth of garbage instead of the computer you set out to upgrade. You DO want to upgrade, nopt down grade or degrade altogether, right? Okay. So careful not to have any magnets too close by within your work area while doing your upgrade. Finally, an anti-static wristband if you don't already know can be purchased for under 10 dollars or not much more than 5 or 6 dollars. That small extra amount of money could be the difference between being up and running quickly or without a PC. Don't start the uprade without one. If you are new to this or just haven't done an upgrade for awhile, don't forget someone told you so. I hope you see this and I hope this was helpful to you. ... show more
