  • Honestly, it's hard to believe just how great this thing is.
This sort of power, at this kind of price, seemed hard to believe... But, after reading the great reviews, and seeing reviews online where it was proven that this thing actually DOES deliver the power that it claims, I decided I'd give it a try. I waited several months after purchase before writing my review, just to make sure that it wouldn't crap out on me after a few weeks/months. But, sure enough... it's been problem free, even with constant, hard use. It doesn't even break a sweat powering my 10" single, and that thing hits HARD and CLEAN with this amp. LPF works perfect, so the bass is nice and clean, and impactful. About the ONLY minor complaint I have is the speaker wire terminals. The wires can pull out if you tug too hard, so make sure to take it easy when positioning the amp, so that your wires don't pull out. Otherwise, this thing rocks. If I ever need to put another setup in another car, I'll be buying this amp again. (Nearly) 1 year update: Still going strong. Other than having the speaker wire work it's way loose (tightened it down MUCH better this time, it's held tight for the last several months), I haven't had a single issue with it. It powers my sub with ease, and barely even gets warm. (Nearly) 2 year update: Been almost two years since I installed it, and I haven't had a single issue. Still pushes my sub hard as it can go, and the amp barely even gets warm. This is a STELLAR amp for the money, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! ... show more

  • This amplifier is a BUDGET GEM!!! This amplifier is a BUDGET GEM!!!
I am blown away that this amp is being sold for $86. I bought this amp to replace a Stinger 1500 watt amp that was defective, and this has impressed me a lot! Starting off with sound quality, it sounds a lot better than the Stinger amp that I had, and every other amp before it. For a cheap amp, it’s unusually clean! I have 2 Skar SDR12s wired down to 1 ohm, and it bumps them very hard! No issues with going into protect mode, and it doesn’t get unbearably hot, either. Some people that have amp dyno’ed these were able to get them lower than 1 ohm, and it was still stable. Overall, this seems like a very solid and reliable amp. Don’t let the generic looks fool you. This is NOT 2000 watts, it is 1000 watts RMS. This same brand also sells a 2000 watt RMS amp for around $150 or so. But still, not a bad price at all, compared to other amps with similar or lower wattage ratings. ... show more

  • Fantastic product Fantastic product
Bought two, one powers a 1 ohm 800w 10in skar, and the other powers my 2 ohm 1000w 12in mtx terminators. This thing puts out serious power to both setups with no problem. Stays nice and cool as long as you tune it to the subwoofer correctly.

  • Worth it!
I had 2 Taramp one was 800watt the other was 1200watt both of them fried I had them on 1 Memphis m7 ran at 1ohm. I came across this amp for less than I paid for the taramps and it performs better and handles being ran at 1 ohm and doesn’t over heat it’s easy to adjust the amp I’m impressed. I definitely recommend this amp if you need one this not that expensive and still performs as it should. ... show more

  • Cool amplifier Cool amplifier
I have yet to push this amp hard enough to get it more than warm to the touch. I assumed this was another case of false advertising until I saw the video on Williston Audio (412w @ 4 ohm, 666w @ 2 ohm, 997w @1 ohm, 1997w dynamic @ .5 ohm). I found a great deal on some Black Diamond 12" subs so I ordered a pair and Q-Bomb box. Sounded great running them at 1 ohm (~500 watts each) but like any bass-head, I wanted more. So I ordered another ZE 1000.1 so I could push 650 watts to each. Installed a 2nd AGM battery, isolator, switched form 4 awg to 0 awg, had it all set to go, and the 2nd Amp wouldn't put out any sound. The power light was on, everything hooked up correctly. To be certain, I transferred all connections and fuses from the working ZE 1000.1 to the new one, and nothing. Asked for an exchange and a new amp arrived 2 days later. That one worked just fine and I think I'm finally happy with the funk coming out of my trunk. Of course, now I wish I could strap the amps and push the full 1000w RMS each speaker can handle. BUT, all I have to do to drown out the voices in my head telling me to go bigger is turn the volume up about 3/4's of the way until my eyeballs vibrate and I no longer feel the urge. Great amp, great customer service, still haven't managed to get them anywhere near "hot". I'm so thoroughly impressed by the quality of these amps that I'm not even taking away a star for receiving a dead unit. I don't think there's a better amp under $100. Not even close. *Follow up: 6 months in and the 2nd amp I purchased is shorting out and I don't know why. I transferred both amps over to my 2nd vehicle, and this one was pushing a Skar 12" @ 2 ohm just fine, until it wasn't. It blew all the fuses one day when I started the car and it keeps blowing fuses. Again, transferred all wiring from the working amp, fuses blew again. I popped the cover off, no obvious capacitor damage or anything broken. No magic smoke smell. I'm not sure what is causing the short. So, roll the dice if you're feeling lucky. Your amp may be running great almost 2 years later, or it might die in 6 months. ... show more

  • Impressed..... Not as impressed now. Not impressed at all.
I put together a little budget-bass setup for my 5th gen Camaro SS using this amp pushing two 10" woofers with dual 4ohm voice coils wired at 1ohm. The woofers are rated for 500watts each, and this amp is moving them pretty good. Build quality of the amp seems good, terminals are all solid, adjustments are functional but simple. So far I have nothing to complain about. I will report back if that changes, but until then add another good review for this budget amplifier that punches above its weight class for money spent. Update: Lasted barely enough to get the woofers broken in, it's now roast and it somehow took out my factory head unit. Wasn't even cranking it at the time. Moderate volume, just riding down the road and got some static in the speakers, then, pop, and smoke started coming from the dash. Got a replacement head unit installed last night, it all works but no bass. Voltage at turn on and power from Battery is fine, the three 35amp fuses in the amp were blown. Replaced them and as soon as the signal sent to turn it on it popped all three again. It has a dead short in it somewhere. Will try an exchange, but if that one doesn't last I will spend more money on something else. Was a good amp while it lasted. . I will update this review as things progress. Final Update, I hope you have better luck than I have with this amp. This one lasted a couple of months, not it clips out at about 25% volume, no bass Turn it down and bass comes back until I turn up the volume a little bit, wash, rinse, repeat. I'm cutting my losses with this thing. I liked it, it did a great job while it worked. It just didn't last. Will be spending a little more money on something that, hopefully, will last. ... show more

  • Beast of a Amp!!
I'm not gonna lie, I was hesitant on purchasing this amp but I went with it because I needed something fast. Let me tell you, do not let the size of this amp confuse you! It slaps!! I have to look at different 15s now because this thing beat the hell out of mine already and there rated for 2400 watts max, obviously the rms is less but i dont think most people know how powerful a amp that puts out 1000 true watts rms is and I had it for a week! The amp puts out true power and will not stay this price once more people find out about it! I still can't believe you get so much power in such a low cost amp but its true. I have had alot of systems in my life and honestly this amp is the first that made me have to look into something that can truly feed it! Absolutely a Monster in my trunk! Also, make sure to have a good box for your subs because this thing will expose any weakness in your box. ... show more
