I know people are upset with Crucial right now and I get it. Trust me when I say I'm there as well. The entire ram industry has been taken over by data centers killing prices. I am giving 5 stars though for the place I bought this from. When everyone else went up to $800 I was able to score this for $400 and it works. I don't see that it's fake and it's clocking at the right speeds so it's authentic. I still feel like it was expensive but might be the last time for quite a while to get ram at that price. As pleased as you can be given the current state of RAM prices, I dont know that I could have found a better value for the money. The memory arrived quicker than originally expected. Inside of the Amazon packaging which was well done, was an unopened blister pack containing the memory. Now I wont be using it any time soon as this is very early in the build, but I look forward to having 64 gigs of quality ram with excellent performance characteristics. ... show more

Kit works great, however, I bought a DDR5 RAM 64GB Kit for $150 in April 2025. Keep that in mind if you're considering buying this at the current ABSURD $370-$500 price point.

THE standard! Sorry about the prices right now. Blame AI and data centers. As well as the utter and total fall of the global trading order that we all grew up in. But this is what you should buy. Crucial/Micron is the RAM i've bought for my last 3 builds over the course of 10+ years now. Rock solid. It's also American made. This is what you should buy if you need RAM. I'm just thankful i bought mine in September 2025 because the idea of buying RAM now... I paid $170 for 64 GB of DDR5 in September. That costs $700 now. YIKES! 2026 is not the year to build a PC guys. Unless you're fabulously wealthy. But if you need RAM, yes... BUY THIS! I've had a decade with this brand and three different PC builds. glad I got these before the ram apocalypse, Crucial's Pro line delivers exactly what you want from a DDR5 kit — plug-in, POST, done. XMP profile loaded on the first boot and the system has been completely stable under heavy workloads including virtualization and large compilation tasks. The speed and latency specs are honest and the performance improvement over DDR4 in memory-intensive workloads is measurable. I installed this kit with my new Intel z890 build and it achieved the rated speeds without issue on the 1st xmp profile. However, I ultimately swapped to the end xmp profile for a slight drop in voltage to run at 5600 with tightened timings as this is going to be my NAS and home media server so the speed is secondary. It has been very stable, it is solid and well build, and performs as expected. I love that it lacks any rgb. It's also my 3rd set of Crucial memory over 10 years and my 1st set is still in use today. ... show more
