This was great. I am a home PC user, but still seem to have a ton of things to plug in. The best feature is that it ONLY takes up one plug on the wall. Next, I really like having ALL my plugs for my PC on one power strip. I have two external drives for movies and four external drives to backup my data (including pictures...too many for the cloud - terabytes). Plus I have to plug in my external USB extenders (two). I also need chargers for my numerous devices. It is just nice having everything in one place and not taking up two wall sockets. The room looks cleaner and maybe even a "cool tech" look to it. I like the fact that each outlet has an on/off switch. Just wish that the outlets had more space between each other to accommodate larger plugs with transformers.

I love that I can turn off anything individually. If I'm working with an angle grinder and need to change blades, or with a soldering iron and don't need it for a half hour or so. This thing is great. I even have shop lights plugged in so I just hit the switch and don't need to walk around pulling chains everywhere. The main switch seems lower quality than the rest, so I just leave that on and switch off what I want, but I'm happy with the purchase. The cable management is really nice to have too. This power strip had the most individual controlled outlets I could find - 12. Appears to be rugged, high quality construction. Individual switches are lit when on and have satisfying click. I think the power strip is intended to be used in workshop settings. But I use in my office so power controls for lights and desk equipment are in one location. Sturdy, metallic exterior, LOTS of switched outlets, reasonable price compared to offerings with fewer outlets and without individual switches. I only rated four stars because the first time I plugged it in and flipped the main power switch, all thirteen switches flickered, like there was something wrong with the internal electronics. After power-cycling the device, all switches lit up with solid color (no flickering) and I've seen no issues with performance of the power strip since. But it still made me nervous there was a defect. I will try to follow-up after a few months to update my review. ... show more
