I am wearing a leg brace after fracturing my knee, but the darned brace keeps slipping. It is made of very hard plastic and has no padding, so when it slips it pushes against my ankle and all the bones in the top of my foot. Very painful. I was googling, looking for some way of padding the brace, other than sticking a sock under it, when I found these gel-filled ankle sleeves. I've never even had ice skates on my feet, so didn't know there was a need for these little miracles, but I am so grateful! I hope the brace can finally be adjusted so it doesn't slip, but in the meantime, my foot is no longer being tortured. I can only imagine these work well for their intended purpose, of protecting ankles from stiff skates or boots. I think the ortho people should hand them out with leg braces. The sleeves are very well made, arrived quickly, and are comfortable. Thank you, CRS!

My skater has been using CRS pads for 2+ years. I even made the mistake of buying cheaper pads once, but the quality wasn't the same and it did not long so I switched back to CRS. Unfortunately, my last two recent purchases of these pads have been disappointing. I purchased a replacement in January and within a month, I had to buy another one. My skater has been using the new ones for almost two weeks and the elasticity is almost stretched out again. This was the reason why I didn't like the cheaper brand. They're not horrible, but the recent items have been performing like the cheaper option and it would make more sense financially to save a little bit of money AND get a extra pair of pads if I go with a different brand. I can't justify spending $25 every month for new pads.
