I carry 4-6 boards and skis in a storage box mounted on the backdoor of my van. The box is meant to hold 4 skis and/or boards but In order to fit more, I needed to remove the dividers that are meant to hold the gear in place. Cramming extra gear into the box causes the skis and boards to rub against each other causing scratches from the edges rubbing or banging into another board's base. I was looking for something similar to a board sock for surfboards and these are perfect. They are well sized (the M fit my 154 very well, the L fit my 162s OK). Also, be sure to pay attention to the differences in setback. The setback socks I ordered didn't quite fit around the back binding on my directional freeride board, but they were a perfect fit on my swallowtail and powder boards. These Mons covers are perfect for storing multiple boards in a single bag or against each other in a car. They are soft and stretchy, and offer great protection. I was looking for a sleeve that was not bulky or had any staps. These are perfect. I actually fit my twin board attached with Burton Step-On bindings (which are low profile) in the full, closed cover. It takes a bit of work to go on, but it fits and then protects the bindings as well! I have the open cover for my other board that has full-sized Flow bindings, also a perfect fit. A little tip, if you have a stop pad that you don't want scratching anything else while travelling, get the cover that's intended for a set-back board, because the top of the cover will then spread over the stomp pad. These are just what I was looking for, and although they're really the only thing I found, they are just perfect. Highly recommend! ... show more

my first saw someone with one of these when I was in New Zealand and I was wondering where the heck they got it. I searched high and low on multiple websites to try to find something like it and alas, a few years later I saw it on Amazon and I bought it and it is awesome. This sleeve is the equivalent of wrapping your board in a t-shirt. It fits nicely, and is stretchy, but hardly offers any protection. This is a dust cover at best and will rip if your board has properly tuned edges.
