This is the best thing ever (paired with the edgie wedgie). We initially chose this particular one because of the ability to attach 2 straps rather than just one. After trying it out we have found it is much easier for the adult to try to handle one strap as opposed to 2, but you have that option with this harness so that has worked out fine. We also found that they still need to understand some basic skills like turning for this to be effective. Otherwise when you pull on it you just pull them over. If they can at least kind of do the motions with their own body you can help guide them and it works a lot better. After the first day with the harness with a four year old, we went back to basics on the tiny bunny hill for some turning skills and after that we only ever needed it for a little guidance. He has been 3 times and is ready to do without on all but the hardest green runs. I would say the best feature about this is the handle on the back and the thicker backpack style straps which are invaluable for helping a child get up out of the snow when everyone is wearing big bulky slippery gloves and jackets. Even if you can’t reach the handle behind their neck, you can get ahold of one of the front straps and haul them up. We bought one of these each for our 7 year old and 4 year old. The 7 year old didn’t end up needing it for the leash part, but we still put the vest part on since we have it, so we can help her more easily if she falls down and gets her feet tangled.

I thought I was going to pull my little one backwards, but this device allowed me to guide my little one down the hill with easy. I could even show my little one down without too much effort and I'm definitely not the best skier myself. I love how the back part has a little pouch to tuck in the straps when not in use.

Took my 3.5 year old daughter out with this and it helped so much guiding her and getting off the lift! Unfortunately after our first day I lost one of the straps (whoops) and I reached out to SKLON and they said that is covered and sent me another backpack and straps! Such a great product and customer service!

I'm pretty happy with how this harness works and fit. My only complaint is that the waist straps, when adjusted to my daughter's body, are VERY long. I am just going to cut them down. Otherwise happy with it.

This product is made in a very nice quality and we received it fast. However, our 8 year old refused to use it although it's her first trying skiing in a snow field. We thought it would make her feel safe with Dad holding her from the back but she insisted only babies would do that. Anyways she did do well without using it, so we felt maybe it works better for younger kids probably toddlers.

The plastic on the leash broke after one use. Thankfully the product came with two, but we are hesitant to use it on the slopes now because it snapped on the first use. Should've spent my money elsewhere... ETA: The company’s customer service was great! I’m hoping to be able to try the product again fingers crossed it was a one time occurrence.
