I have summer events in parts of the San Francisco Bay Area that are less windy, more sunny, and several degrees hotter than my usual outdoor venues around Pacifica. I am a lightweight at 5' and 105 pounds, so being able to pack, unpack, move, set up, and take down a canopy by myself made me look for one of the lighter-weight options. I loved the color choices for the Crown Shades and chose one that fits my style and branding. My husband helped put it up. Neither of us has owned or used a popup, so the fact that we had it unpacked and set up in under five minutes was a great start. I set up my tables and displays and found that I'll have plenty of room and shade under the 10-foot canopy. I was alone when I took the canopy down, packed it back in its case, and rolled it into the garage. Our usual gusty winds were unusually calm today, so I don't know how wind-resistant and durable the canopy will be when put to the test. I'll update this review if I have any problems with wind or wear. For now, I'm a happy canopy camper.

Instructions say a 2-person setup is best. I set it myself. I’m 5’ tall & found setting up this 10x10 canopy was pretty easy. I did have to get a stool to push up the center lock, but it glided into place quite easily. I was, however, unable to get the red tabs around the edges to lock in, but that’s because I set up the canopy about a 1/2” off. I suspect 2 people would’ve gotten it right. The air vents are fabulous! Living close to the beach, it’s always windy in our yard, but so far so good. This canopy is set up on our deck, screwed into the wood planks, no movement at all. The shading is very good- seems cooler - but it’s still early in the season to see how cool the shading will be in 95 degree weather. All in all, a very good purchase. Recommend!

I bought this specific canopy because it was American made (I bought a different - Chinese - canopy at the same time for the same event). The side by side comparison was revealing. This canopy was worth the extra money. This one 10x10 was more expensive than the Chinese one 12x12. However, the construction and materials of this canopy were clearly sturdier and higher caliber. We used it in the high desert for a day of shooting. There were decent winds and while both canopies wobbled around a bit, this canopy fared better against the wind. The legs are thicker and the overall build quality was evident. The assembly, raising and lowering all went as expected. This is a well made product.

Easy to set up. I am 65 and I only needed a tiny bit of help to pull it to size, but I’m sure a younger person could have done it alone. And I completed the rest of the set up myself. The center push up knob/lock made it easy to pop it up. The canopy itself has rubber button like holes to secure it to the frame which was very nice & easy. Not sure how long it will last if left up for long periods of time (I bought the light weight canopy) but the instructions firmly say it is NOT for wind or rain. That being said.. the vent at the top will help with light breezes or infrequent gusts. It comes with stakes, & ties and bags for sand to weight the legs down. Nicest canopy I have ever purchased for the money I spent. Happy

I read all the reviews before I purchased this making sure that this was the kind of pop-up tent I wanted for my business. Mind you I am a senior and so is my partner. Unfortunately we both have very bad shoulders. This tent is not as light as some people have made it out to be, or those people are are in excellent shape! 1. The tent assembly itself with the top canopy was not as easy as we were hoping it to be but it was doable you need two people to put the canopy on top of the steel frames. 2. The mechanism in the middle the center of the tent is easy to push up and pop up with one person. 3. However because of the weight of the steel which is actually a good thing, It took two of us to pull on opposite ends to pull the four sides out completely. There was no way he or I could do it on our own. 4. Putting the sides up by the legs one by one was difficult. Having a second person help you do it each person across from each other made it much easier to get the right height. There's no way in heck as a heart patient that I could assemble or pop up this tent all by myself in the heat of Arizona. Both of us we're struggling to put the tent back in its bag and to assemble it. The canopy is off a little bit lining up with the poles but I'm thinking that'll change as the wind stretches the canopy out a little bit more. I do like the depth of the canopy on the sides and it is very high in the middle it's a good thing there is a vent there. It seemed immediately cooler underneath the tent then in the direct sun That's a big plus because some of them actually make you hotter. It seems like sometimes hot air gets trapped underneath these tents and you start roasting. That is not the case with this. Well I'm used to having aluminum frames in my canopies because they are lighter, The plus side is that the steel frames actually make your tent more stable in wind and that is a good thing. We're actually going to fill the bags that come with this with concrete instead of sand or stone. 30 mph winds pick up where we live and you need more security to tie down your tent if you're on pavement. I'm not sure I like the design of the bag but it'll do. I don't really have to get it into a complete case which is a plus. The wheels on it are sturdy and work well so far but I would not drag them across gravel. For that reason the tent becomes extremely heavy to carry and my partner claims it's heavier than 34 lb. I'll update this accordingly to see if the tent can withstand some strong winds in the next couple weeks and how it fares. So far I think I made a good purchase.

It's almost unbelievable how easy this is to set up. Everything is so nice and easy. It's strong and there is no peices to put together which I hate. This is a must buy. Just buy it. The canopy on top you do attach that but it's so simple and it actually had nice red straps and velcro. Nothing about this is made cheap even though this isnt that expensive. It's definitely worth what you pay and I'd even buy it again if it went up in price. We got two so far
