  • Easy to Set Up and Surprisingly Great Quality
Color: Cyan Blue Size: 10x10
I purchased this and have been very impressed with it so far. The biggest highlight is how easy the setup process is. The one-push design makes a huge difference compared with older canopy tents that require multiple people and too much effort. This goes up quickly and with far less frustration, which is exactly what you want for beach days, sports events, or outdoor gatherings. The overall quality also exceeded my expectations. The frame feels sturdy, the materials feel well made, and it gives confidence that it can handle regular outdoor use. It does not feel like a flimsy temporary tent. Coverage is excellent, providing a nice shaded area for chairs, coolers, gear, or kids taking a break from the sun. Very useful for baseball tournaments, beach trips, parks, or backyard events. I also appreciate that it packs down without too much hassle, which matters just as much as setup. Overall, this is one of those products that makes outdoor days much easier. Simple to install, solid quality, and highly practical. Five stars. ... show more

  • Best Pop-Up Canopy I’ve Ever Purchased
Color: Black Size: 10x10
I honestly wasn’t sure about this canopy when I first ordered it and actually canceled the order at first. The company reached back out and offered me a discount, and I’m really glad they did because this turned out to be one of the best purchases I’ve made. It took me a few months before I finally opened and used it, but once I did, I was seriously impressed. The quality is excellent, and the setup is incredibly easy, especially for one person. The extra clips on the top are a genius idea and make setup much smoother and faster. You can tell this canopy was designed by people who actually understand what customers need. Even packing it back up was simple. The wheeled bag, pin system, and clear instructions made everything easy to store and transport. Every part of this product feels well thought out and designed with convenience in mind. This is easily one of the best pop-up canopies out there. Strong, easy to use, high quality, and worth every dollar. If you’re looking for a reliable easy-up canopy, I highly recommend this one. Great company and an outstanding product. ... show more

  • Easy pop up tent for Moms!
Color: Forest Green Size: 10x10
Putting up this tent is a breeze if you have a couple of hands to help! Just pull apart the legs and give the tent a good pop. It’s quick and simple. The tent kept us cool and well-ventilated, and it held up great. Taking it down was a snap—just push the release buttons and gently push the tent back together. Once you know which side the zipper goes on to make the wheels easy to carry from the car to the field, putting the cover on is a piece of cake. I’ll admit, it’s a bit heavy, but it’s manageable to load back into the trunk of an SUV, which fits it perfectly. ... show more

  • Overall, it's a great investment.
Color: Cyan Blue Stripes Size: 10x10
Wow! Protection from the summer sun and the rain! This is a good investment for me. I'm grateful that there were videos available on how to set it up, as they helped me a great deal. You don't have to be Doctor Octopus to set this up; I did so all by myself and it worked just fine. Two people would be nice, but not necessary. The instructions are really easy to understand, and there's a summary of the instructions on the storage bag that comes with it in case you forget something. I really enjoyed that. There are two plastic bullet-shaped tips attached to the bag (by canvas extensions) meant to keep the legs and the bag together during storage or moving, and it's really neat. One could easily forget how to store the tent in conjunction with the bag, so I just took a picture to remind myself. Yes, the tarp portion has to be installed on the frame. I've used this a couple times, and my main reason for purchasing it was for my trips to the beach. I took one on yesterday, and it worked just fine. Word of advice... putting the legs underneath sand without the metal stays that come with it (or the bags intended for weight distribution) is not a good idea. I was in the water, and I looked back and noticed that someone (the wind) moved the entire tent!! I was like "What?! WHO has the NERVE to MOVE my #$%@ after all my hard work?!" I got out and saw lines in the sand! LOL!!! Well, I proceeded to put the stays in each of the plastic ports, and it didn't move anymore. (= Even when it started to rain (at an angle), it still provided protection for me. But most important was shade from the sun. It's got a neat 'exhaust' port at the top that allows for circulation and ventilation, and that's better that the port is in place. Major likes: 1). Design 2). Color of the tent 3). Easy to assemble 4). Doesn't take up too much space Now... on to my gripes: 1). There are multiple small receptacles meant to fit around a cylindrical head to attach the tent to the frame. They stay in place, but when the wind was blowing yesterday, one kept coming off. I put it back in place when I was preparing to leave (and storing the tent back into its bag), but it kept being stubborn! The others were fine, and eventually, I found a way to keep it in its place. Those U-shaped receptacles are rubber/plastic (?) and not sturdy enough; they may eventually loosen over time. 2). This tent is an attractant for flies. I noticed it when I initially set it up... there were two flies in my rear patio (where I unboxed the item), and I NEVER get flies in there. I thought to myself 'Did these jokers come packaged with this tent?!' but then I thought it was just a coincidence. After the initial setup, I noticed there was another fly underneath the tent! "Okay. This is ridiculous." I advised the fly to leave before I stored the tent in the bed of my truck. Whether or not it did? I do not know. On yesterday at the beach, there were about 4-5 flies underneath the tent AGAIN! And it's always the small ones! My deduction? They're attracted to something underneath there, and it ain't me! LOL!!! XD 3). This tent could've been preassembled by the manufacturer. What gives?! Overall, it's a great investment. The wheels are awesome to be used, but only on a hard surface... I didn't even try to drag that thing through the sand cause it's not that light; I sat it up on my right shoulder and walked on through the sand. I worry about their longevity, though. Oh! The size of the tent! It's perfect! You can get it even taller if you'd like with the clamps that lock in place. I'm 6'6" and I did bump my head on the top portion of it, but I could've set it higher if I felt. The mechanism that locks it in place? Mwaa! Magnifico! Okay. That's it for me. I'd give this bad boy 4.5 stars if I could, but a solid 4 stars. I hope this helps you in your decision. Take care and enjoy! Z. ... show more

  • All-in-all, a great canopy; just need to know its limitations. All-in-all, a great canopy; just need to know its limitations.
Color: Blue Size: 10x10
UPDATE : May 2026 I’ve used Crown Shades pop-up shelters for years and have always been satisfied with the features and durability. I am impressed that with each evolution of design they just get better and better. I’ve replaced the canopy part but the frames are sturdy and generally last several years. This season I needed to buy a whole new one because I neglected to install the canopy correctly and also misjudged a really bad storm! The new one is even better than the previous one. The frame seems even studier and the addition of little slide on buttons to help hold the canopy on the side braces os so helpful! The wheels have been made more compact so they don’t interfere with the slide on disc weights I use on the legs. I appreciate that the button covers on the legs remain - so much easier to adjust the legs!! And also the center push hub remains - which actually brings my only suggestion to the manufacturer. The button at the top is red - last year a poor little hummingbird thought it was a feeder and caught herself under the canopy, frantically trying to feed. It was a super hot day and the little thing just was exhausted. Luckily, I saw her and got some sugar water for her. She gratefully climbed onto a cup I held up on on a stick and she got a drink while I lowered her out of the canopy to a safe space. So they need to change the button color!! 🤣 I covered it over with white tape to keep other hummingbirds from coming to sample it. Original:I’ve had pop-up canopies before, so I am familiar with their limitations. I actually am floating an older one in my pool! I would love to be able to put this one on my patio, over my furniture, for the summer. But I know that it will never withstand the wind that comes sweeping through my yard. I could probably use it once in a while as long as I am taking it down at the end of the day. However, I know I can use it on my deck, with good anchoring, and leave it up for most of the summer, taking it down for only the severe storms and high winds. I have had it up now for about 4 weeks and it is wonderful. I love the improvements in design that make raising and lowering the legs so easy!! And the center pop-up mechanism is equally awesome! I’ve never had a canopy so easy to put up! To be honest, it was a breeze to initially put up because there were two of us. But I have been able to lower and then raise back up the legs by myself after some windy days. The red button covers and sliding mechanism really made a difference. I have it on a section of my deck that is partially shielded by the house wall and sunroom wall (photo 1). I have 20lb weights on all four legs, and one of the leading legs is bungeed to my railing posts, just to help with wind gusts. It does not cover my entire deck, but it is enough to shade my beloved 3-seat swing. But, with limitations - it is not waterproof, and in a drenching rain, it will get saturated and drip water onto the deck. There are also two “weep” holes on each of the four sides of the canopy (photo 2) that allow water to drain…which is better than having it collect and have the whole thing collapse under the weight. I just try to make sure I bring my seat cushions inside if there is a storm. But, in a passing light sprinkle, I can leave them out. (I live near the shore - we get little squalls threatening every day in high summer.) One thing I am a bit disappointed in, hence the star-drop, is that the legs are thinner, therefore not as sturdy, as canopy structures I’ve had in the past. I have it set at the lowest of the available height selections because it makes it a bit more sturdy in wind gusts. For me, it is not a problem, but I’ll have to raise it up if my taller relatives come visiting! :) I do recommend this canopy; it is a great price. I wish the company had the larger one available in blue - I would not hesitate to get one for more intermittent use over my patio. I may just have to spring for the red one. ... show more

  • Very, very easy to put this up
Color: Orange Size: 10x10
I am a 5'2" women in her 60's. I read all the reviews and watch countless videos on this canopy. I also have a bad back. I wanted to get a tent for outdoor craft fairs. With that being said, let me break it down. Pros: 1. When people say this is easy to set up, they are not lying. I'm not a physically fit person at all. I bet this took me all of 5 minutes to set this up ALL BY MYSELF. I was totally shocked it worked. 2. I like that it has vents in the top. 3. I also like that it came with the weighted bags that you need to fill yourself. I did not try those out yet. 4. I got the orange one because that is my theme. I really like the color. The fabric feels sturdy. 5. I like that you don't have to velcro it everywhere. I like how it kind of just snaps on. 6. I like how easy the legs release. No more pinching yourself with those silver button things. 7. Take down and putting it away was a breeze. So easy. Cons: 1. For me, it is a tad heavy trying to roll it. I won't lie, I struggled more trying to pull it then actually putting it up. That's all the cons I could come up with. If you are on the fence about the ease of this, don't be. Watch some videos on the internet and just see how easy it is. ... show more

  • Easiest Tent To Set Up!
Color: Grid Gray Size: 10x10
I have owned multiple pop up canopy tents over the years, from the cheapest of the cheap to the nicer more expensive/sturdier ones. This one by far is the easiest one to set up I’ve ever seen. As advertised, this one can be done with one person. It seems so simple, it makes you wonder why all of them are not made this way! I can literally have it up in 60 seconds. I was a little iffy on the storage bag, and how hard it would be to get in and out, but after a few times, it’s not bad at all. It’s not really a typical bag that it stays in, more like a form fitting cover that has these pegs that attach to it. It’s hard to explain without seeing it. That was my only issue with it, and issue may be the wrong word, may be more like learning curve. Whenever you put the cover back on it, you have to have it turned a certain way so that those pegs line up properly. The only thing I cannot really attest to is its longevity. I will probably use this one more than previous ones. I have owned simply because it is so easy to put up. As of this moment, I have used it five times and it seems well-made and like it should last a long time if it is taken care of. ... show more
