My only gripe is I expected to have the somewhat metallic looking silver backing based on the silver coated comment. But I guess that is just a coating applied to the fabric to help reflect heat. My cheaper one had the silver backing and it seemed to do a better job of reflecting the heat. Aside from that, this thing is a beast. First time out and a short Florida thunderstorm rolled thru. This thing bearly wiggled and held no water. I couldn't justify the $300-400 canopies, but this one was well worth the upgrade over the $80-100 canopies. Follow up. The single click in the center makes setup and break down a breeze. I was concerned the single lock in the center would not be as strong or sturdy as locking in at all 4 corners, but that has not been the case. Most canopies have supports from the 4 corners to the peak and just a scissor system around the perimeter from leg to leg. canopies of that style shake a lot in the breeze and show early wesr on the canopy around the perimeter. This canopy has extra bracing from the supports from the corner to the peak that connect to the scissor bracing aorund the perimeter. This simple extra bracing makes this think solid. This tent provided great coverage for 3 events. When taking down after the third event, the center support snapped, so it is no longer usable.

I purchased this canopy based on the description and reviews describing it as easy for 1 person to set up. SOOO not true! Unless there is another person to hold part of the frame at a corner - the central part of the frame is beyond incredibly difficult to push up until it clicks. At this point I have not been able to accomplish it. I have no idea what I am going to do at my event next Saturday if I am not able to persuade someone else who is there during set up to help me. It’s very windy at times where I live. It also gets super hot. So far it’s holding up. It has an interesting top. Like a mini canopy that’s separated yet still attached. It allows air to exhaust out so it doesn’t tear in high winds. Great quality.
