    • Overall, it's a great investment.
Wow! Protection from the summer sun and the rain! This is a good investment for me. I'm grateful that there were videos available on how to set it up, as they helped me a great deal. You don't have to be Doctor Octopus to set this up; I did so all by myself and it worked just fine. Two people would be nice, but not necessary. The instructions are really easy to understand, and there's a summary of the instructions on the storage bag that comes with it in case you forget something. I really enjoyed that. There are two plastic bullet-shaped tips attached to the bag (by canvas extensions) meant to keep the legs and the bag together during storage or moving, and it's really neat. One could easily forget how to store the tent in conjunction with the bag, so I just took a picture to remind myself. Yes, the tarp portion has to be installed on the frame. I've used this a couple times, and my main reason for purchasing it was for my trips to the beach. I took one on yesterday, and it worked just fine. Word of advice... putting the legs underneath sand without the metal stays that come with it (or the bags intended for weight distribution) is not a good idea. I was in the water, and I looked back and noticed that someone (the wind) moved the entire tent!! I was like "What?! WHO has the NERVE to MOVE my #$%@ after all my hard work?!" I got out and saw lines in the sand! LOL!!! Well, I proceeded to put the stays in each of the plastic ports, and it didn't move anymore. (= Even when it started to rain (at an angle), it still provided protection for me. But most important was shade from the sun. It's got a neat 'exhaust' port at the top that allows for circulation and ventilation, and that's better that the port is in place. Major likes: 1). Design 2). Color of the tent 3). Easy to assemble 4). Doesn't take up too much space Now... on to my gripes: 1). There are multiple small receptacles meant to fit around a cylindrical head to attach the tent to the frame. They stay in place, but when the wind was blowing yesterday, one kept coming off. I put it back in place when I was preparing to leave (and storing the tent back into its bag), but it kept being stubborn! The others were fine, and eventually, I found a way to keep it in its place. Those U-shaped receptacles are rubber/plastic (?) and not sturdy enough; they may eventually loosen over time. 2). This tent is an attractant for flies. I noticed it when I initially set it up... there were two flies in my rear patio (where I unboxed the item), and I NEVER get flies in there. I thought to myself 'Did these jokers come packaged with this tent?!' but then I thought it was just a coincidence. After the initial setup, I noticed there was another fly underneath the tent! "Okay. This is ridiculous." I advised the fly to leave before I stored the tent in the bed of my truck. Whether or not it did? I do not know. On yesterday at the beach, there were about 4-5 flies underneath the tent AGAIN! And it's always the small ones! My deduction? They're attracted to something underneath there, and it ain't me! LOL!!! XD 3). This tent could've been preassembled by the manufacturer. What gives?! Overall, it's a great investment. The wheels are awesome to be used, but only on a hard surface... I didn't even try to drag that thing through the sand cause it's not that light; I sat it up on my right shoulder and walked on through the sand. I worry about their longevity, though. Oh! The size of the tent! It's perfect! You can get it even taller if you'd like with the clamps that lock in place. I'm 6'6" and I did bump my head on the top portion of it, but I could've set it higher if I felt. The mechanism that locks it in place? Mwaa! Magnifico! Okay. That's it for me. I sell small made items from Spring through Fall, and often have to set up my space by myself. This tent is SO SO SO easy to pop up and put away. I cannot give this enough praise. Over months I'd put different tents into lists, and would read reviews and look at photos... as my previous tent was a PIA to put up alone. Almost always had to beg someone to assist me. I recommend this tent to any small business person. I have several walls that I use for different purposes and everything works with this tent. I use sandbag weights, and it stays in place on hard and soft surfaces. Putting this back in the bag with the tent still attached to the frame, well, its cake. No fuss. GET IT. ... show more

I recently purchased this crown shades 10x10 canopy from Amazon, and after putting it to the test, I'm inclined to give it a solid 4-star rating. Here's why: The construction of the canopy is quite sturdy. The frame feels robust and held up well even during a breezy day. I appreciate the quality of the materials used, as they seem durable and built to last. Setting it up was relatively straightforward. The instructions provided were clear, and I was able to assemble it without any major issues. The adjustable height feature is a nice touch, allowing for customization based on the event and space. Coverage-wise, the 10x10 size offered ample shade and protection from the sun. It comfortably accommodated a small gathering of people and provided a comfortable area to relax outdoors. One aspect that could be improved is the carrying bag. While it's functional, it could be more robust to better accommodate the weight and size of the canopy. Additionally, it would be helpful if the canopy included more anchor options for added stability, especially on windier days. All in all, this 10x10 canopy is a solid purchase.     • Easy to open and close

This tent is very easy to open and close. I thought for sure that I ordered this one because it had a side panel. I didn't receive one and the picture now doesn't show one. I wonder if one can be added as I don't really want to return the tent. I purposely spent a little more because of the side panel, now there isn't one. Did they change the picture? One of the videos I watched showed a side panel. Anyhow, the tent seems good. The little buttons inside don't really line up with the red slots to put them in to hold the top down. There is velcro though. So hopefully don't need the buttons also. The top is very hard to pull all the way down on the frame. It is very tight and I hope I don't tear it. It probably will stretch over time. The little pegs by the wheels confused us as they don't actually snap into the holes, they just easily go in and out. I guess they serve a purpose. Not sure what as they aren't secure. All in all, I think we will enjoy the tent. It seems a lot easier to open/close than the others we have used over the years which is a great plus. The sandbags will be great as we lost our last tent to wind. I just wish the side panel was on it as I thought I had purchased. Hoping someone can tell me if it is possible to buy one and attach it. ... show more
