This pad has added some additional life to my ropes. I have found myself working out on floors with abrasive surfaces that have left some visible wear on my ropes after working out. Now I have a pad that reduces that wear.

This mat goes more for durability than comfort which is exactly what you want in a jump rope mat instead of a ton of cushion. I find the size to be perfect for jump rope. I keep mine flattened out all the time so I don't know how well it will do being rolled up after each use. When mine was new out of the box I had to unroll it and put weight plates on it over night to get it perfectly flat. One minor feature I found kind of clever is the long ends are slightly cupped downward so there is no way for the mat to catch your jump rope. I am extremely happy with this purchase. ... show more

I'm glad I picked this one is perfect for me even though it was expensive it's really good I can jump rope on this.. but I can't jump on my carpet..so it's very useful in my home gym

It was so comfortable to use with any kind of jump rope. The thickness and size and shape is perfect. And I can even use it for leg exercises. And most importantly the edges do not curl up!
