These chairs were easy to assemble, they matched perfectly with my farm table, are pretty comfortable, and great all around for the price. The only thing I noticed, is on some of my chairs (not all) they were a little wobbly. I fixed the wobble by putting 2 felt furniture pads on the bottom of one leg. Other than that they were perfect. I especially liked that they are the “truest white” you are going to get. I looked at a thousand other chairs that had “ivory white” and I needed “white white”. For the price I'm quite impressed. They are heavy, I believe the solid wood part ( in the product description) is the seat. The stain on the seat is a beautiful color, shows wood grain and is just a bit lighter than what most furniture pieces are labeled as espresso. It's just enough off white to make it not stark. The only "aged/distressed" bit is on the chair legs and rail but it looks good. For those wanting a bit more distressed look it would likely be easy to sand a few spots or to rub a bit of stain here or there. I had no difficulty putting them together, easy instructions and holes are all in line for the bolts and screws. The seat part is a bit narrower than the chairs I had, but those where huge 90s oak style. I'd have to say these are probably not the most comfortable chairs, but I can't get upholstered chairs with three young children in the house. I'll buy or make cushions and they will be just right. The front leg decorative bits are just enough to make them match the giant 90s oak table I'm refinishing ( I'm hoping to match the stain for the table topcamd white for the pedestal). ... show more

Ordered 5 sets. Once I got the first one assembled the rest went together pretty quickly. Something to consider when assembling. Once you get the front legs mounted to the seat bottom. And have started the 7 bolts that hold the seat to the back. Let the chair sit on all 4’s before you fully tighten all 7 bolts. This will make sure it isn’t wobbly. Did have one counter sunk screw hole not fully drilled through on one of the leg braces - but that wasn’t a big deal. Only took me a few seconds to drill out my own hole for the screw. Figured 1 small issue out of all 10 chairs isn’t bad. They also have a nice weight to them, feel very sturdy and solid. They are not a pure white but slightly off white and the stained seat bottom has a reddish brown tint to it. Wish it was more of an espresso brown tint but not the end of the world. Also - they have a “worn” look to them on some of the turned pieces. Wish they had a dark stain color under the worn look to match my custom built farm house table. But again not the end of the word for the price and style. Overall the wife and I are happy with them. Another item off the honey do list and on to the next! ... show more

Love the color, weight and style. Sadly, 1 of the legs came out of the box cracked. Bought 4 chairs. Other 3 are lovely. They had small scrapes and scratches. I was able to conceal with a few coatings of colored marker. Will contact manufacturer as the packaging suggests. I think the packaging may need to be better. BUT, had that chair not been broken, I would have given the chairs a 5, even with the small scrapes. They are a nice quality otherwise and good looking. ... show more

Update: I called the company and sent a replacement in record time I absolutely love the color and matched painted my table legs the same. I will stain the table top this spring. But the wood the company uses is very soft, time will tell if it is sturdy. BTW the chairs were wabble but I figured it out. Loosely tighten the middle screen to part A then set it on the floor and put pressure on it until it no longer wabbles then carefully set it down on the surface and tighten all the screws on part A. Hope this helps. I understand that thing get damaged in shipping but this was not. It was packed this way. The back of the chair was wrapped in plastic and the broken off piece was laying on top of the plastic. Another chair has a hairline crack at the spindle hole so failure is imminent. Will call today for replacement parts and update once resolved. ... show more

I bought 3 sets of these chairs, they arrived promptly and my husband was able to assemble them all within a few hours. I originally bought a table online and the matching chairs were sold out everywhere and each time I inquired the in-stock date kept getting pushed back. Finally, I gave up when they told me Feb of next year when I bought the table the January before. I've been without chairs for my table since March! I was afraid the colors would be really off and I hesitated to get them. Glad I pulled the trigger on this one! I am so pleased that these chairs went so well with my table that I loved. The chairs are comfortable and sturdy. They are even better than I hoped they would be! The table is Harrisburg from Furniture of America, these chairs don't exactly match but they sure do well enough! ... show more
