This item comes in a flat pack plus a separate box for the electric fire.. The fire is fine enough but given its smaller size the blower is small and therefore a bit on the noisy side.. but you DO have the option of assembling the unit without the fireplace and use a provided shelf for the center opening... The colour (dark oak) is pleasing enough however it is very fragile finish. one door came with a scratch (that was not done in shipment), however with some brown fountain pen ink the contrast was reduced such that it was ok. The unit comes with some pieces assembled and assembly could be greatly facilitated with clearer diagrams as its not obvious even to a 40yr veteran of self assembly, which way a widget or shelf is oriented. The fact that some pieces are already assembled *should* facilitate assembly however one piece was assembled incorrectly such that pilot holes are now visible from the front. yup. great. All documentation clearly states "DO NOT RETURN TO THE RETAILER" and gives a website and phone number.. however given i have half assembled tv stand in my living room that needs a replacement part, I would appreciate that they would respond faster than the now 3 days and counting. I will update this review if and when I get a response and finally have a usable unit, but right now i wish i had purchased elsewhere. Well, one week of having apart assembled piece of furniture in my house and i have had enough.. I finished assembling it and have given up. IN summary... a) It was impossible to lock all the tabs for the top piece b) it is extraordinarily difficult to fasten the fireplace into place as there is minimal clearance on LH and RHS.. this alone took 30mins c) the RHS back piece would not fit into the top slot due to obstruction by the center right upright... and so "self assembly" meant "self assembly with a angle grinder with flapwheel" and an exacto knife. only took 5 mins..but try this without an angle grinder. d) on one of the doors the retractable pegs went in, and not out.. even with some WD40 and 15mins of naffing about.. so I have a door that is kinda wedged in place (a bit) so as not to be visually offending but cannot be opened, cos it will fall out. e) oh yes.. and two very visible unsightly holes So i am left with a broken, unsightly TV corner unit and the manufacturer is nowhere to be seen or heard from after one week. If you are masochistic enough to read this review and still buy it.. I suggest 1. you photograph each layer of the packing box so that you will be able to repack it and return if necessary 2. you visually check every piece to ensure it is ok before you start assembling 3. get a sage wand, eye of newt and wing of bat.. moan into the wind at the next full moon and hope for the best. in the unlikely event that the manufacturer will actually provide some customer service and replace this item I will edit & update this..but so far it seems they do not care. ... show more

This fireplace corner unit is nothing special. It's quite a bit smaller than the last corner unit we had and looks dinky compared to the rest of my furniture as well. The fireplace itself is tiny and SUPER fake looking. It's almost all red "flames". It is not a good value. As a matter of fact, we'd send it back if we hadn't already put it together. You can't send it back if it's "used" which means even if you don't like it after you put it together, it's yours. I cannot recommend you purchase this. ... show more

I really like the quality of this entertainment center. The instructions could use some improvements, it took some level of deduction and some time figuring out how to put it together, some parts were mislabeled, some pictures were incorrect, but I believe assembly has low weight when it comes to rating the product as a whole. It arrived fast, well packaged and all parts in perfect condition. The entertainment center itself was the exact size I was envisioning, maybe a bit shorter, but not a big deal. It is very sturdy and looks great all around! I'm a very satisfied customer! IMPORTANT: the side shelves are in the shape of a right trapezoid, so don't make the same mistake that I made and only look at the front and side dimensions (thinking the shelf was a full rectangle). I had to keep the back covers out for my things to fit inside. Not a huge deal, it can't be seen from the front, but the angled tops don't touch my walls because of it (my computer and printer are extending out the back). ... show more

Love the color! It really brightened up the dark corner. It fits perfect and I don’t feel like I’m wasting space, as I was with our old rectangle entertainment stand. The cupboards have magnets, so close and open very nice. The ”fire place” not only looks beautiful but also puts out tons of heat! I do wish it had heat levels (1-5) but then again, if I’m turning it on, I’m wanting to get warmed up. LOVE. ... show more

We love it! It is exactly as described, and the electric heater puts out a LOT of heat! Very happy with the purchase. Putting it together was a bit difficult, but still happy with the purchase.

There was damage to one of the doors of cabinet - it was a deep scratch. Almost all put together so not returning. Just disappointed.
