We got this rocking chair for our nursery in preparation for our baby’s arrival. Pros: ✅ Very Comfortable – The padded cushions make it a cozy spot to relax. ✅ Easy to Clean – We got the leather version, which feels like it’ll be simple to wipe down, especially during feeding times. ✅ Convenient Pockets – Pockets on both sides are great for storing little items. ✅ Beautiful Aesthetic – The chair adds a lovely pop of character to our all-white nursery furniture. ✅ Spacious – The size means I can comfortably sit with the baby once they’re older, which is a nice bonus. Cons: ⚠ Quite Large – The chair is pretty huge. I’m 5’4”, and my feet don’t quite touch the ground, which makes rocking a little difficult. However, I solved this by getting a small footstool, and now it’s much easier. ⚠ Takes Up Space – Although it fits in the nursery, it’s larger than I expected, so if you’re working with a smaller room, this is something to consider. We put two of these in our master bedroom. Perfect size, shape, and color and love that the rockers are darker wood (most of what we were looking for had light wood, which didn’t go with our room). Very solid and quiet with good range of motion while rocking. The seat is a little higher than some chairs, so my feet do come off the ground when rocking back, but I don’t mind it. We’ve been using this chair since our daughter was born 6 weeks ago. It’s been such a perfect addition to the nursery and is absolutely perfect for middle of the night feedings and rocking her back to sleep. It’s a pretty deep seat, which I like, because I can sit with my legs up in the chair with me. I’m 5’2 and I sometimes have a difficult time rocking with both my feet on the ground if I’m settled back in the chair, but will likely get an ottoman soon so I can put my feet up. It appears to be very sturdy and well made. The chair rocks smoothly and quietly. The color of the fabric is like the pictures and the material is very soft. I’ve not had to clean any spills off of it yet, but that could be challenging given the texture of the fabric. My husband was easily able to put it together in just a few minutes. I was skeptical of ordering a piece of furniture online that is so dependent on comfort and quality, but I have been very pleasantly surprised. ... show more
