I did buy this to have in my backyard through the summer. Rain in the summers in New Mexico are usually 20 minute deluges and then the sun comes out, but we just had a week of consistent rain and I discovered that the canopy fabric is stretchy, so 3 areas filled with water instead of pouring off. I pushed the water out several times a day until the night that it rained constantly and the canopy collapsed under the weight. Bent the frame so it's useless. Had this been a normal summer, this wouldn't have happened and since I live alone, I didn't have someone at hand to help me take it down. So best for parties, camping or in places where your summers are pretty dry. Otherwise, it did go up easily with 2 people and gave me a month of shade.

We bought this rent to use at the beach. Just had the first opportunity to use it. Overall it worked very well. The kit is a bit heavy to carry, but that makes sense as the frame has to be sturdy, which it was. Everything arrived new and in good condition. The tent was pretty easy to set up. Probably the best feature was the sand/water bags for the posts. The ground stakes that were provided would probably work in solid ground but we’re not suitable for sand, so we used the weight bags which were included and easy to attach to the tent legs and kept the tent well grounded even in the 12-15 mile and hour winds we had at the beach. So far, very happy with the purchase.

Bought this back in may, used it for the first time this last weekend on our camping trip, upon setting it up, the buttons that lock the 3 settings for height wouldn’t click in to lock it(had to use sticks) The metal that this pop up tent is made out of is very cheap and easily bendable. I cannot imagine this thing holding up after multiple uses. Unfortunately I missed my return window so now I am stuck with this, save yourself money and invest in a better product.

This is ideal for use in the backyard. It's a little heavy, but it doesn't affect easy assembly. The strongest is the four sandbag feet, which are not affected by wind and rain occasionally.
