Got this from Amazon around black Friday/cyber Monday for $29.99. I'd never used a slow cooker before I bought this. I've been using it for freezer meals. I just take my stuff straight from the freezer in the morning, and dump it all in, set it for 6-8 hours depending on the food and it does everything else for me! Truly an amazing product. I use mine with liners to make clean up faster and because I'm lazy. I have NO COMPLAINTS about this slow cooker and I'm extremely happy I bought it. I have had no problems with the warm setting boiling my food. Although it may seem that way at first when it first switches over from the cook temp to the warming temp. My food is not dry or tough to chew. No lid rattling (and I don't pull my liners up over the sides either, I semi loosely twist the liner together at the top like a hair bun and put the lid on. This way the liner is not touching the lid at all or the outside). The cord length is just fine with me and I actually haven't even taken the twist tie off the cord either because its the perfect length for the section of counter top that I'm using it on as it is. I initially bought the Reynolds liners to use with this but they are expensive considering how often I use my crock pot. And after reading the reviews on these liners (and the price! :D ) I decided to try them out. We bought this Crock Pot in 2015 and it is still going strong. Everything works exactly as it should with it. I would definitely recommend it and would also buy it again. Both the high and low settings work great and so does the timer. It's super easy to clean and is very durable.

I bought this to replace a crock-pot I have had for the last 6 years -the digital display is starting to go and I didn't want to be caught without one day. So far to "test" it I used it to make a " refried beans without the refry" recipe that I have made for years and the cooker performed flawlessly. I did notice a little more liquid evaporated than usual but other than that there was no difference in the time it took to cook. Part of the reason I chose this crock-pot was ease of use. I really just wanted as little fuss as possible, I didn't want to have to figure out how to program the thing but I DID want to be able to set the time up and down in 30 minute increments. So this fits that requirement for me perfectly. The display is great , easy to see. The outsides do get hot which I was aware of before I ordered - I keep mine up up and back on a counter so that the little ones aren't able to touch it anyways so not really a big deal. The little crock included is ok..I used it to keep some nacho cheese dip warm for a small party last week however the thing is a pain to clean since the liner doesn't come out. I probably won't use it again. Overall happy with this crock-pot :) It gets the job done. ... show more

Cooks wonderfully, has High, Low, and Keep Warm settings. Automatically shifts to Keep Warm when done cooking on High or Low. Countdown timer lets you see time remaining to cook. Removable stoneware insert and lid are dishwasher safe and clean up easily in the dishwasher. Also comes with a mini Crock Pot to use for hot dips, etc, that holds about 1.5 cups. The mini-version does not have a removable stoneware insert like the full-sized Crock Pot, nor does it have a timer. You just plug it in and go! I haven't tried the "Little Dipper" (what they call the mini Crock Pot) yet. Comes with a small recipe booklet, and many more recipes are available on the internet. ... show more

    • Great "Count-Down" Feature
We needed a new Crock-pot, and there are a plethora of them out there. After looking at many options, I decided on this one and it works great for our needs. Not too large and not too small, it works for our cooking style and the count-down timer is a great feature that works well. We do meals during the day, but what is really nice is to set the timer for overnight while we make beef or chicken stock and let it simmer for a very long time without worry or attention. The only small drawback to this package is the little "dipper". It heats well for gravies and sauces, but because the "crock" inside is NOT removable, it is difficult to clean because, with the electrical element, it cannot be submerged in water. This crock pot is awesome! It arrived on Wednesday and we made our first meal in it Thursday. Growing up we always had a crock pot and since I recently moved out I want to make sure I had one for my new home. I like that this crockpot will automatically switch to warm after it is done cooking! I will be putting this on in the morning for dinners at night during the work week, the automatic warm setting will come in handy! My only complaint, which isn't about the product itself, but maybe for Amazon or UPS, the crock pot was shipped in its original packaging. I know it would probably be a waste to ship it in an additional box but I was concerned about someone stealing the package from the front porch. Luckily our neighbor takes in packages for us until we are home! ... show more
