    • Light strip is great, everything else is meh
I bought these for my dorm and they work great! They could be a bit brighter but they offer a seamless, addressable light. Wired controller is convenient but only really useful for turning the strip on and off. Wireless remote doesn't have to be pointed at strip which lets me just stick it onto the wall, but it doesn't offer many options. Most of these strips will let you set 1-6 custom colors (usually labeled DIY) but these are stuck with 6 pretty awful looking default colors.     • Great lights, wish app was simpler
The installation was simple and it lies well! The colors are really smooth and it is a great value! A few things I wish the app had: a) less options! It’s hard to find the color combo you are looking for.. there has to be a better way. B) shades of white for when you want it simple. C) non moving designs… I love the look of multiple colors, but don’t always want the busyness of them moving around so much. ... show more

Honestly, this would have been perfect for me if I could have figured out a design pattern I liked. I tried multiple options to get this to work, but it just did not look good. I think it would be perfect for behind electronics like TVs or behind your bed. I already have one behind both so it didn't work out for me, but I think others would like it. ... show more

    • Excellent except color discrepancy in the leds
Light strips works and is bright. So great I bought thrice! The manufacturer did send me a replacement one with their newer production run. The new one is better than the old one but still has a couple color discrepancies on white mode. Basically these lights are great for 90% of applications. If it's for spots where it is diffused, hidden you won't even see it and only while on white or teal. Great tracing effects. The only thing I do wish they would have is a good color fade option on the physical buttons. Buying another set so clearly not bad :) ... show more

This is my first time buying any type of LED lighting and I am quite impressed with this product. The third picture (dimmest setting) and the second picture (brightest setting) are both shown with room lights off. I would definitely spend the extra money to get this type of rope light. Easy to use, looks great. I wish they worked with HomeKit, and the app kind of sucks, but they're cheaper than a lot of the other neon rope lights and the product itself is great. heads up- you can cut/divide the strip, but you need two buy extra accessories to hook up the part you cut off. I like the light and how you have the option to use an adhesive or screw in the brackets but it honestly isn’t very bright :( decent selection of color options and I’m a fan of having a remote
