Works fairly well. I find myself occasionally having to retighten things. My one complaint is that if the mount and/or windshield are cold it's almost impossible to get it to stay stuck (but once everything is warm enough it generally holds for days/weeks until you want to remove it).

This suction is excellent. It is almost twice the size of other suction cups that I own, especially it's arm is long, that's why I chose it. Sticks to windshield really well, very strong & some times it is hard to remove it. By the way, sticks well without taking the protective plastic & comes off easily when released.

The mount itself is great, but in terms of the actual ball joint where you mount the camera or whatever device it may be, it is not very strong. Would not recommend to use for anything heavy OR on anything that may move or vibrate and it will just slip. I am fairly hands on, and even when I really tightened this up, it still slipped. For a stationary go pro maybe would be ok. But that's about it.

I’ve bought three of these mounts over the years, and they’ve been pretty solid overall. The suction is amazing—it sticks like glue to any smooth surface and doesn’t let go, even on bumpy rides or rough conditions. The only downside is the ball head. After a while, it starts to wear out and can’t hold the weight of my GoPros anymore, which is a bit frustrating. It’s the one part of the mount that doesn’t seem to hold up as well over time. That said, I keep buying them because the suction is just that good. If they could improve the durability of the ball head, this would be a perfect product. For the price, it’s still a great option if you don’t mind replacing it down the road.
