This one is the smallest of any of them and I have other mini presses. I usually use my presses for sublimation printing. This one can do it (see photos), but it is so small you have to keep it moving or press in sections to even do a 2” square magnet. Now that does not mean it is not a good press, quite the opposite. I found it heated evenly and fairly quickly and I think it would work great for transferring heat press vinyl or patches onto small items. Heat press vinyl is not so finicky as sublimation printing in my opinion and pressing say a medallion design on the chest of a t shirt would probably work great using this press. As for sublimation, I managed (in three attempts on the same magnet) to get the print completed, but there is some slight distortion because I lifted the paper each time to check the transfer. Still it was able to heat just where I wanted to complete the image.

I ordered the Cricut EasyPress Mini in Lavender, and it turned out to be a super convenient little tool, compact, easy to handle, and great for getting into tiny or curved areas like hats, shoes, and baby clothes. The heat plate warms up evenly, and the precision tip is actually really helpful when you’re trying to press small designs without overheating the rest of the fabric. That said, people really do need to read the description first. This isn’t a general-purpose iron; it’s meant to work alongside a Cricut machine and heat-transfer materials. If you don’t already own a Cricut or use HTV or Infusible Ink, it won’t be nearly as useful as it sounds. It has one main heat setting, and it’s designed specifically for crafting projects, not everyday touch-ups or clothing care. Overall, I like how lightweight and portable it is, and the safety base makes it easy to set down without worrying. For crafting, especially small-scale personalization, it’s perfect and delivers clean, professional results. Just make sure it fits your setup before ordering, this is absolutely a Cricut companion tool, not a standalone household iron.

I’m absolutely in love with the Cricut EasyPress Mini! This compact heat press is perfect for small or tricky areas like hats, shoes, sleeves, stuffed animals, and tiny HTV designs where a full-size press just won’t fit. It heats up super fast (under 2 minutes), has three simple heat settings (low, medium, high), and the precision tip lets me get right into corners and curves without burning surrounding fabric. The ceramic-coated heat plate glides smoothly, gives even heat, and shuts off automatically after 13 minutes for peace of mind. I’ve used it on cotton, polyester, and even wood blanks with great results—no scorching, perfect adhesion every time. It’s lightweight, easy to store, and the extra-long cord is a lifesaver when my workspace is crowded.Compared to using a regular iron for small items, this is night-and-day better—consistent pressure, exact temperature, and no guessing. I received this Cricut Mini heat iron, which is used for applying iron on patches etc. This product comes with a manual and it’s easy to use. It function as expected, as really the only function is for to heat up. It heats up well and I had no problems with its use. Because it’s pretty small it’s easy enough to store and keep with your craft supplies. Honestly, though I think this is more of a gift item and not necessarily something I see someone buying just because. I get that it’s small and it is a branded item, but ultimately you can just use your regular iron. So again this feels more like a gift where you would give it to somebody who does use their Cricut quite often. I think the biggest positive on this over using a regular iron is it as small so it’s easier to store it with all your craft supplies. I am still giving it four stars because for what it is it does operate and works well for the product.
