I am pleased to report that this Cricket "Ultra Smooth" comb is exactly that--it's smooth as can be. It practically glides through my hair. My hair is very thick and wavy. This comb not only glides so much more smoothly through my hair than the sandalwood comb, it leaves my hair feeling softer and less frizzy. I'm skeptical about the infusion claims but can definitely say that this comb is far superior to the wooden one. I suspect it will also last much longer, given that it's all one piece (the wood comb is not) and is therefore sure to be more sturdy. This one's a keeper.
