I saw posts say this doesn't come with the remote. It does. The display screen in the unit comes out. You have to remove the panel there, and unscrew the 2 screws. Then you fill the hole with the metal piece provided. The instructions are in the book, with diagram of how to do it. I am a woman in my 60s and did the entire thing myself, including lowering into my crawlspace from the room above. It is November so I didn't expect a great amount of water since the temperature has dropped but so far I have been getting about 4 gallons I guestimate. I only installed this a day ago, but it is working great. I am able to view the humidity level from up here in the house. The cord to the display is long. So is the one hose that goes to the pump. It also has a shorter hose if you just want to drain it by gravity. If memory serves me, the gravity hose is 6 feet, the pump hose is 16 feet and the display cord is 32.8 feet. The power cord was not as long as it could be but it reached. It is super quiet. I have to put my ear to the floor to be able to hear if it is running. I can barely hear anything with my ear to the floor. It has a washable filter so you don't have the expense of buying replacement filters. Right now I am installing a utility sink to drain it in. Right now I am just using a 5 gallon bucket. The hose doesn't flop out of the bucket, so it should stay in the utility sink just fine. It is long enough that I could have pumped it outside but I didn't want to flood my yard. You can also plumb it to drain into your drain line I suppose. So far so good.     • Broken after 10 months supposed to have two year warranty but they won't make it right

Do not buy 😒 seller doesn't stand by there warranty. So up date after posting this they did end up replacing it with a new one so im thankful for that will see how long this one last and will up date at later time

Product worked for less than 1 year in 800 sq. Foot basement. Creworks was contacted for warranty but will not honor the 2 year warranty they claim on website. Creworks claims it only has 6 month warranty. Do not waste your money!!!!

We had an old upright dehumidifier in our basement and the bin had to be emptied once every couple of days. Kind of a chore to do so often. This Creworks unit caught my eye because it looked like a great unit for the price. It arrived quickly and setup was a breeze. The unit DOES come with the ceiling hang brackets that install on the bottom. I originally intended to hang it, but got squeamish about the weight and built a sturdy rack to position it just above the wastewater pipe for the clothes washer. Once the rack was built, setting up the unit itself took hardly 15/20 mins tops. Put on the feet, run the discharge tube, plug it in and GO! I had to face my unit toward the wall to have the discharge go to the left, so it was incredibly handy that I could remove the touchscreen and simply mount it on the front of the rack. Love that versatility. Unit has been running for the week and is super quiet. I am very happy with this purchase so far! This CREWORKS dehumidifier looks like something outta a sci-fi movie, but once it kicked on, my musty crawl space turned from “eww” to “ahh” real quick. I set it up under my old brick ranch, where the air always smelled like forgotten gym socks, and within 24 hours, things started feeling less wet and weird. It’s got modes for days — I keep mine on continuous during rain weeks, then switch to night mode when I just wanna keep it low-key. The drain hose setup was easy; now I don’t even think about emptying it, it just sends water to a bucket I got outside. The control panel snaps off too, so I don’t gotta crawl down there just to check or change settings. The fan does hum a bit louder than I expected, but not enough to hear from inside the house. Still, I’d park it somewhere it can breathe — this ain’t a unit you cram into a tight crawlspace corner and forget. It needs a little room to do its thing. So far, it’s handled a 1,000 sq ft area like a pro. I’ll see how it holds up over the summer swamp season, but it’s already helped me not dread walking down there.
