The easy-entry front zipper placement makes the Lido Short effortless to put on and take off. It is perfect for snorkeling, diving in tropical waters, swimming, surfing and other activities. Highly flexible 2 mm Neoprene and a flattering cut conforms easily to most body shapes for a great fit. The front Zip allows ease of donning and doffing. YKK zipper closure. It protects the body from the UV ray, scratches and jellyfish. The wetsuit should fit adherent, like a second skin, to allow a small amount of water to keep you warm in the water. Refer to the size chart to get approximately the most suitable size for you. If the purchased size does not dress properly, it is possible to change it. The wetsuit should be worn wet for trying it because the neoprene becomes softer. The models for man and woman have different anatomical cuts for a perfect fit and to ensure free movements. I’ve been a diver since 1975 and have had a few wetsuits in that time. The quality of this suit is very good. It runs a little small perhaps. I struggle a bit getting it over my shoulders and it is really hard to get off when it’s wet. But the stitching is nice and the zipper looks be good quality. I am 5-11, 176# and I ordered a large. If I weighed 10 # more, I would need the XL. ... show more

Disliked the sizing, never bought anything XL, usually ML and still it’s snug but elastic. Used in pool and ocean good for warm water.

I have two main problems with this suit. First, I am XL, everyone said it ran way small, so I jumped over xxl, and went right for xxl. It was still very small, and hard to get on. Second, the zipper stops above the navel. After i wiggled into it with great effort, I couldn't get it off of my shoulders. There is no back strap to pull on, and it was pulled onto my shoulders so hard, no matter how much modern dance and yoga I tried, after 15 minutes I gave up and literally cut it off. The way-too-short zipper gave no room to escape after I had pulled it on one arm at a time. Who in the world thinks a super short zipper is a good idea on a wet suit which is already undersized. As I was cutting it off, I just kept thinking "Oh well, at least I can warn others of the two fatal flaws". Don't buy this one! ... show more

A helpful review would be: if everyone gives their height, weight, chest and waist measurements and the wetsuit size that fits you would be more helpful to others. Just mentioning what a great product it is does not help. I am 5'7' with a 40" chest and 34" waist. I wear a medium polo shirts, but when it comes to ordering a wet suit I ordered a large to be on the safe side and it was much to small. With some trials and returns to Amazon I finally found one that fits. I ordered XXL in this style and it fits almost perfectly. From the crouch to the shoulders it is a good fit. The sleeves and around the thigh is not as tight as I'd like but its okay. However, once I get it on, it is difficult to remove from the shoulders. I am 70 years old and not as flexable as I used to be. I can get it off but with a great deal of effort. With an assistance from another person would make it easier to remove. Once you get it off the shoulders, it's easy to remove from there. I also tried the back zipper wet suit and it was not a good choice. To zip up and zip down to remove is not made for older people. The front zipper is the only way to go. I have yet to try this in the water. I don't think removing the wetsuit while wet is going to be any easier. I did swim with this wetsuit and it works well to keep me warm. The quality of this product is excellent. I like how the ends of the sleeve and ends of the leg are finished. It is still difficult to remove from the shoulders for me. I gave it a 4 star because of that problem. If I was in my forties or fifties, I think it would not be a problem. ... show more

Might run a little tight to size but overall good size. Great arm and leg mobility with his suit. Front zipper is easy to use, but not for surfing because you will be laying on the zipper. For $65 it’s a great deal!

I am 6 ft 3, 200 lbs and could not put on the xxl suit. It perfectly fit my son in law who usually wears Medium. He is very happy with it. Bottom line, it is a good wetsuit but you cannot trust their size scale.

Backing up the big guy's photo review. I'm 5'8" and around 225 w/beer belly. Got the XXL and it fits very nicely. I've used plenty of wetsuits when I was younger, but the retirement belly really is a major annoyance, and it's part of the reason it never seems to reduce by much when activities like snorkeling become only a memory. This stylish shorty fits - with only a slight wrestle to get it zipped and, most importantly, my wife's assistance getting it off the shoulders after use.
