To be completely open, I did receive these for free. That said I'm not letting it sway my opinion. Here's the good and the bad: Good: * Most important: Appears to be very good quality. Since I got them for free I wasn't very careful with them and felt free to abuse them. The quality seems to be there though. Had for less than a month, so I perhaps I'll need to update this in the future, but so far, no complaints in quality. * Very sharp. Like 'be careful' sharp. * Doesn't require pilot holes. The design is self-tapping , and once that initial drill-spike gets going you can cut through wood without worrying about it skipping about. * Great selection of sizes. This comes with the larger sizes that I use most. Carpenters wear these sizes out first, so these are great to have in your toolbox. * connects to the older and newer quick-change style of drills. Thank you! * The orange paint actually helps me find these easier in the toolbox or on the job. Bad: * There's no case. It's sent in plastic that you have to cut open and then you need to figure out how to store them yourself. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I rather expected that I'd have a case like most drill bits come with, and for a full-retail price of $45, I thought there would be one. * at $7-8 per bit, this feels kind of expensive, but you pay for quality. Maybe this is more for heavy-duty commercial use than for the typical hobbyist? Overall I had a positive experience with these. I'm tempted to get more from this manufacturer.
