I use a lot of Cremo products, and I find that the Cremo beard wash works the best with my facial hair amongst all of the other beard products I have used. The only issue I have with the beard wash is that it is not always the same consistency. Sometimes you will get a bottle with thick, viscous fluid that can be used for your entire beard and other times you will receive a bottle that is very runny and feels watered down, forcing you to use half the bottle just for one clean wash... Nothing about this is too much. It does what it’s supposed to with a very rich lather, not overpowering. Only leaves a very light scent with a very clean beard, which is a good option to have. Based on the product pictures I purchased this as a subscribe and save thinking it was the beard wash and softener. It is not. My husband will still use the wash he just expected the softener.
