We wanted a wooden swing set for our daughter’s birthday and we looked at what seems like a million! After going back and forth between a few of the Chinese manufactured sets, we decided we were going to spend the extra money on an American made swing set and picked the Clayton Classic 4. First bonus, it came a week early! I was a little nervous to start pulling stuff out because of horror stories I read on instruction clarity and organization of the cheaper sets but my husband just went for it day 1. All of the boxes were labeled and organized by section. The instructions were clear and easy to understand with box locations for each piece. The pieces are not labeled so you need basic tape measure knowledge to measure to find the correct piece and common sense to match the pictures of hole patterns but I prefer that over letters stamped all over. The material is SOLID! The hardware is SOLID! The engineering is so smart. It took me and my husband a couple hours a day after work for three days to finish assembly. We realistically could have done it in a full day. I am beyond impressed with the quality of the play set. It is beautiful and sturdy. None of the pieces split, there were no knots in inconvenient places, no hardware broke, and holes needed to be moved. We just installed so I will come back and update on longevity if there is an issue. So far, I am very pleased and impressed. Proud to have purchased American.

Was pretty easy to set up except the roof. I did it by myself. Having a second person would have helped a lot. I got the wood roof and it’s fairly heavy s d one of the holes was not drill in the correct spot. My kids love the playground and it seems very sturdy. Our whole family if 4 were in it and the It was very solid.
