Truthfully, this just went straight into my parts drawer. I would have rather the capricorn tubing but I'm sure this stuff will work fine. Nice to have an assembled spare ready to go in case disaster strikes.

    • There's a flaw in the throat during manufacture
I read the other reviews that stated how filament oozes out of the print head. I figured it was due to how it was assembled (common problem). So took it apart to make sure the throat was mated correctly against the nozzle. However, I couldn't get the throat unscrewed from the heating block by hand. Had to use a wrench to get it off. The threads on the throat were poorly cast and cross threaded into the block. Also, the bottom of the throat where it meets the nozzle is not flat. It is cast at an angle. This would prevent the two parts from meeting correctly and cause leaks. I ended up just taking it apart and using some of the piece on an existing print head. ... show more

    • Absolute Trash hotend. Good heater cartridge and Thermistor.

The Heater Cartridge and Thermistor were pretty good and work well. The hotend was a different story. After I installed the hotend I attempted to swap out the nozzle and had a difficult time removing it. Was probably put on too tight at the factory. I printed a couple things and then saw that the hotend was caked in filament. I cleaned it off as well as I could.
