gorgeous dress, runs a little smaller than scarlett darknesses other dresses i’ve purchased several so far, they are superior materials, lined, better quality and easily worth difference in price usually. This has a full functional corset in the dress so it is perfectly fine that this seemed to run a tiny bit tighter than previous dresses i have purchased from them, the dresses that do not have the ruching have tended to since they are not as stretchy and flexible i ordered a ten instead of an eight which turned out quite perfect. i absolutely fell in love with the color and pattern, it’s unique and not seen anywhere in there other products which is rare from what i’ve seen so far. the ruffles are flattering, comfortable and make you feel giddy like a princess and the length and slit are both perfect, as i’ve come to expect from Scarlet Darkness; they put a lot of thought and care into their designs as well as pay attention to details, i’ve been happily impressed. The corset is easy to adjust, considering/for a corset; the straps are thin and dainty and adjustable however not really good to hold weight so i needed my victoria secret lace demi bra to look my best in it, the milk maid type breast area is ample, and my DD didn’t fill all the way which is rare; the breast have a delicate ruffle in top which i appreciate and tie simply in the middle. The breast area is lined, the open area in the back of the corset has an ample panel of material that stays in place and is doubled over and not see thru; the ties are the same chiffon material that the dress is made of which is beautiful but not sure about strength and long term use, i would say they are not intended to carry or hold weight, more to simply gently adjust fit. all in all in extremely happy, this is a 20-30$ higher price than i’ve paid so far for any dress in ages, i typically adjust my size or the color/pattern to get a better price but this beauty demanded the highest, there was a small coupon but still was double the price and worth it, the corset, all the ruffles etc easily justify price. i do have to return and replace this one however, the edge of the ruffle on the front of the dress is melted into the shipping bag, an innocent mistake, i trimmed back as much as i could but any further attempt to seperate the melted seam of the plastic bag will damage the edge of the chiffon in a obvious place. the only real complaint is the zipper, clearly they chose this one to be invisible once the dress is on, however the teeth are so fine sacs the zipper handle are so small that it is next to impossible to zip up even when the track is completely clear and guided with help of my adult daughter, the one drawback. Since the corset allows adjustment i did try to leave it zipped and use the corset to loosen to get in and out however that didn’t quite work well but regardless i would not be returning had it not had the mistake of getting melted into the plastic shopping bag, scarlet darkness continues to impress! this is i think the fifth dress i’ve purchased from Scarlet in the past 6mo❤️

Wore this for a goldrush theme party. Got a few compliments and it is very comfortable not too itchy and the corset is adjustable by several inches with fabric underneath the ties. The only issue is the straps are a bit small and twist and come loose easy and hard to keep from squeezing into the top of my shoulder. I wish they had an inch thick strap of a better material. But I plan on wearing this again when I can! I am 5'3.75" and it was the perfect ankle length for me in flats.

The dress is beautiful and exactly as pictured. I am 5'6" and about 230lbs, I ordered the size 16 and it fits perfectly. As others have stated the zipper is tight and can stick, so I recommend loosening the corset back fully to zip it up first the tighten the corset as needed. Other than that the dress feels well made and I'm looking forward to wearing it for my friends wedding. I would purchase again!

Got this dress for a wedding and absolutely loved the quality of it. There is zipper on the side that seems heavy duty enough that even though it was tight the zipper didn’t bust. The only thing that I will say is that the zipper was impossible for me, or two other people, to get up while on my body. I have hips and have triple D boobs and by the end of the night the wiring was digging. However, overall I would recommend this dress for anyone with a similar body type as long as you don’t mind having your boobs out a little more.

When I ordered this dress, I ordered like 8-10 at the same time because I basically needed a new wardrobe, plus I saw so many cute dresses I loved from this designer all at once and couldn’t resist. However I have to say, although I ended up loving pretty much all of them; this particular one was BY FAR my favorite! I first wore it to an event that required a dress code (think Derby/ southern belle dress style wear), and I received countless compliments that day despite every lady there wearing beautiful dresses! However this dress is so versatile that you can wear it as a casual sundress, wear it on a cruise or beach, church, restaurant, anywhere! The shades of blue and green in this dress are so beautiful, and the material has quality and comfort as well as frilliness and femininity. My favorite aspect of the dress is the corset back! I originally bought a matching sweater to go with it, but that will likely never be paired with it and I will likely always wear my long hair up when I’m wearing this dress because of just how adorable the back of this dress is! It also fits true to size and is quite comfortable, especially for a frillier dress. I’m 5’8 and this dress is the perfect ankle length on me, which is fantastic because a lot of dresses tend to be too short since my legs are fairly long. But don’t worry if you’re shorter than that, because I wore it with flat; so if it’s a bit longer on you then just wear heels with it. Highly recommend! (Or not since I love it so much I really don’t want others to have it! J/k. Wink.)

The dress is cute, and surprisingly very full. I love that the playful slit in the dress is not too high. She is big chest friendly!! I have 34 DD cups and theres so much more room. The cups stretch! I ordered a size 10 and I have a 31" waist. It is almost too big with the corset completely tightened. It fits okay, but I definitely could've gotten a better fit with the size 8. Unfortunately my dress arrived with the boning ripping through one of the stitches, so its a bit uncomfortable underneath the left chest. There was also a mysterious brown/red stain on the inside of the white slip. Also the material is extremely light weight. So over all its a nice dress, but I don't think its worth the $60+. I would price this around $40.

This was very disappointing as the dress was exactly what I was looking for to wear to an event. I wanted the pink one too but it was sold out. Might buy later. The fabric is so soft. Really great quality.
