I bought this printer and had to return it. 1. Printer number 1 would slam print head Firmware or G-Code was bad. Support is non existent. Had to purchase an international plan for cell phone and could never get through to China. 2. Printer number 2 bricked during firmware upgrade. Although it was not purchased from Amazon, (Micro Center) I had to return it. 2 months in and highly annoyed. Returned it. 500 miles and 300.00 in gas Bridge toll lunch etc... 3. Third Printer would not print properly and fail at 80% like it was set to fail and get me to buy more filament Sent videos and pictures in to support. Went back and forth for weeks. Told they would send new print head out. I wasted at least 300.00 in filament. So be prepared to watch alot of video and read. I can't believe there is no USA based support. Between filament type, print temp, humidity, build size and print nozzle dive there are many tweaks to get going right. I was printing basic things, block, circle type stuff, holders brackets etc. You really need to know there are many points of failure, and print design, and all that goes into it has its effect, couple that with print position and filament type, it takes time. There were/are no videos explaining print design settings and I'm baffled at how they don't have a library of actual prints to watch online and can show people the difference in nozzle sizes when printing or all the different ways to print with all the different settings and the difference they make. It definitely is not a plug and play and empirical wisdom would help in this area of printing. I wouldn't recommend this Printer as the CFS Systrm was also problematic. A micro dent in the filament caused it to not retract, took 30 min to figure it out as it was small and I had to remove filament from cfs to see. You have to be prepared to disassemble things and it was a chore as it's heavy and placement made it cumbersome to move, unplug etc. I just don't get the No Support over the phone and considering the issues I hear, it's a big issue. I am really upset at Creality. They offered me 10.00 for all the hassles. Lol. Do homework before you buy ! Lots of it. Take a class...I was building close to max build plate size. I don't think that is wise especially for complex designs. The tolerances are not good.
