I wish this printer had actually been the 2nd generation version as advertised. As is, it came with one of the earliest firmware and none of the revisions that prevent this printer from ultimately failing. I loved what it could do, but do not buy from this listing. I would recommend avoiding purchasing here and go direct to the source. But hey, at least now I know to go with Bambu Lab! ... show more

    • What a machine
8yrs of 3d printing with other opensource printers this has to be the best one of them all. Super fast and spits out extremely nice prints. My experience with Creality support is not so good. Send multiple emails but no response. Other than the support I love this thing.

    • Not what is advertised
Despite being advertised as 2nd gen the printer I received was one of the earliest manufactured, the box was dated 6 months ago! Comes with the old style usually defective extruder and hot end. Good price but lying about being 2nd gen.

    • Gen 2 had the old hot end and extruder assemblies
I specifically ordered the gen 2 K1 expecting the new hot-end and extruder assemblies. The machine started having error 2564 ,(Extruder not heating as expected), on day 2 of operation. Tech support wanted me to tear apart the print head and inspect the hot-end for cracks and connector issues. It had the black silicone sock on it. While I was there, I had also been having extrusion issues, so I decided to inspect the extruder. It was the old style with the excessive gap between the feed gears. When it does print it looks nice, but this K1 will require some upgrade and replacement parts before I can trust it to work properly. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Creality has made this to compete with BambuLabs and they didn’t disappoint. Most people are going to print PLA and this printer flys while doing so and the results are good. However, printing flexible filaments was a nightmare at first. Since then, I found the solution and this printer prints TPU really well. My video shows it in the process. Overall, I’d make sure you know how to use a Slicer program pretty well before messing with this thing. ... show more

    • Do your research before buying it.
It printed nice parts and fast. Extremely loud and the nozzle clogged after less than 4 days of use. Customer service is the worst. They have yet to contact me. I ended up returning it. Will not recommend this machine until they get rid of all the bad hardware.
