    • Can't heat one side and cool on the other

Installed in our garage/apartment conversion last year and it works great in the winter and summer! But when you need cooling in the day and heat at night, this unit struggles. The two inside units cannot heat one side and cool the other. so AUTO mode will causes problems every time. Rather then one side just picking what it should do and delaying the other unit... It just gives up and throws an error code. STUPID! Also, when installing, remember to open all FOUR shut-off valves. 2 on the high pressure side and 2 on the low pressure side. ... show more

Horrible Company. So mad I shopped here. Disingenuous customer support. They told me I could return my item and then they changed their minds and made me keep a $2000 product I can't use

    • Match the mode on both units or temp issues

If one unit is set to cool or heat then both units must be on cool or heat mode. For ex. Cannot have one set to auto cool mode at 73 and the other set to cool mode at 73 as will get both out of whack.

Seems to be running fine so far, biggest gripe was one of the line sets came in as 1/2 inch & 1/4. Both evaps are 3/8 and 1/4 inch as well as the flare stubs on the CU. As a 40 year retired HVAC Tech , I made it work but for someone thinking this was a do it yourself project , just be aware . The only other thing I didn’t like was the quality of the copper in the line set was poor. ... show more
